Thank you for allowing Dr. Honda share your platform. He is by far the most ethical, compassionate, expert I have come across on YT. It’s very frustrating to hear people call all a-wholes narcissistic when they’re not, and allowing Dr. Honda explain it on your channel is sooo important. Dr. Honda educates his viewers about mental health in a very respectful and honorable way.

Let's remember what stalking behaviour does to people's mental and physical health. I'm more worried for her victims. This woman should be monitored daily. She is a huge threat to people. The safe place for us is her locked up. If this was a male do you think it would get this kind of attension. Now she's being offered money for her story. If she gets money it should go to her victims for treatment.

Once she was outted she had more negative attention than anyone would want. There's his truth her truth and the real truth is somewhere in between. Regardless of how much of this is true Netflix and Gad were wrong to make this show and so thinly veil her privacy. By him playing himself it would have been a dead giveaway who she is through everyone who knew them. Fiona's level of sanity should not figure into her privacy being breached especially for monetary gain for others.

@ryan131rm That's not what I said - please re read my post. Gad and Netflix start the show by saying this is a TRUE story. Then Gad says he changed the names and certain places to protect the privacy of others. He then proceeds to play himself so anyone who knew him would instantly know who, what and where he was talking about. Clearly neither he nor Netflix gave two shakes about protecting anyone or anything. This to me is a lie. Had he used real names and real places it would have been truthful. So if they played fast and loose with this "truth" what other truths are now suspect ?? They cast doubt on their own credibility. If you're going to tell a truth and potentially damage someone's reputation you better make DA*M sure you crossed all your "T's" and dotted all your "I's". For instance where is Fiona's arrest records - public records and yet no one can locate them. One must be careful when weaponizing the truth.

She does not read the room, her mood swings are extreme and often violent, and she sees offense everywhere. Then she turns on a dime and is the most pleasant person you could meet. She is calculating and very smart. She has some rage issues, no doubt from her childhood. Issues that she has gotten better at keeping in check. That's probably less true with her obsessions but obsessions can be concealed, as long as her behavior stays within the social norms.
Whatever diagnosis is secondary to how she manages it. If she has insight on to her own behavior then I'm not worried about Martha.
She's not a narcissist. It's a different motivation and pay off. More likely Borderline Personality Disorder & Depression.
She likely feels at her best when she is researching people. If afforded more of a like minded community she could have avoided lots of trauma.

After the interview you had with Piers Morgan and the ride psycho lady there, I was surprised to see that this morning. He also said that they changed the identity enough that the woman likely would not recognize herself. Yet how many stalkers would one guy have!?!😂 I think she’d know if it was the guy she stalked. Apparently people are after Terri from the show as well, according to this story I read. Personally I think she is the real Martha. But, I do think Netflix should have done more to protect her, as well as the character Terri, who is trans and could be in danger.

As someone who is dealing with a stalker, I feel they should be called out, NO OTHER PERSON should be subjected to the harm that a stalker causes and it will deter future stalking incidents because they can be exposed for their horrible and harmful choices. Healthy coping skills is a good thing and providing those is a good strategy. Stalking is a preventative problem I believe. Real consequences are effective. If you don’t want the results, then don’t make the choices that lead to them. Stalkers are also notorious for lying and denying the conscience choices they make. 😔😔😔

The innocent folks who get abused by these people have rights too. All stalkers are ‘victims’, especially of themselves.

I have not heard any experts suggest the possibility of Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) or Other Specified Dissociative Disorder (OSDD). As a specialist in treating dissociative conditions, I observed several indicators during her interview suggesting this diagnosis could be possible. Most with these conditions use the plural "we" instead of "I." This was evident when she stated, "We were congratulating him on his show," and "We were trying to encourage him because with the..." - both instances occurring in contexts that typically warrant singular pronouns. Additionally, switches between alters might manifest as incongruent emotional expressions or sudden shifts in personality. We observed this sudden, incongruent emotional shift during the interview when she laughed and immediately shifted to a still facial expression. Also, her portrayal in the series displayed sudden, extreme shifts that were uncharacteristic and shocking like when she suddenly became rageful and other times when she was child-like. In cases of DID and OSDD, we may see inconsistencies in skill levels such as reading, writing, and spelling as they shift between alters, especially when shifting to a child alter. This phenomenon was noted in the series when referring to her spelling. Finally, we see the portrayal of her being in an unresponsive, dissociated state at a bus stop which is congruent with dissociative conditions. Overall, her behavior during the interview and the portrayal in the series struck me as potentially indicative of DID or OSDD. Although this specific case portrays harmful behavior, it should not be generalized to all individuals diagnosed with DID or OSDD. The problematic stigma and stereotype often depicted in media of DID or OSDD involving dangerous alters is inaccurate and harmful.
