Amazing film! Vincent's paintings are profound and powerful, in every ' detail ' that shatters each "soul" of the spectator viewing them. Thank you John Thornton, for documenting excellence.

John, I'm really glad you said the power of Dead White was frightening to you (a visceral feeling not a criticism). That is how I felt as Vincent talked about the mental and emotional evolution of his painting while I emotionally and emotionally zoomed in!. He has a capacity to plow collective consciousness into the collective unconscious, the world's upstairs' better self into the basement's bloody baseness. Images most of us can hardly contain, much less pursue as Vincent has. I am in awe of his visions for his paintings, his skills to put them out there, and the depth he plunges to verbalize images and settings in drawing and
paint. Thank you, John, for this film.

Another log of praise for the compliments fire.....seriously, this needs to reach a wider international audience. The references to Warhol were quite apropos, and deftly inserted. Brilliant on so many levels! Oddly, I have never heard a lecture, nor an in-depth discussion of the artistic process that was cogent, impactful and contextual...until I listened to Vincent in this short film. I would hope this ends up in schools across the globe.

Wonderfull artist Mr. Desiderio. all his work is so lyrical and the profound control of the medium. It is great beauty coming out his brush struck and the metaphysics of his colours wow I like it a lot. Thanks, again John. The last piece or better said the central piece The White Death, and this is totally a personal opinion. Is the synthesis of the Christian faith with this overload of suffering to rich salvation, fanny but is always what I feel when I"m inside the Barroc cathedrals.

Очень сильное напряжение в работах. Реальность отчаяния и усталости. и, в то же время, спокойствие факта.... Работы притягивают.
