Within this presentation, we initially looked at the trends and potential support and resistance levels of the S&P 500 Index. Next, we looked at the recent trend of the volatility index (VIX). We then discussed ways that traders could consider structuring short put verticals to potentially generate income. We then placed a couple sample short put vertical trades, discussing potential gains, risks and some of the option greeks in the thinkorswim paperMoney platform.
