I saw the Cavies perform this back in 2000. I still get chills. Yall did a great job. It warmed my heart to see it played so beautifully.
I knew this was a real piece of music as well but had only ever heard it performed by the Cavilers up until today !
That Cavalier show is probably my all-time favorite.
Oh WOW! This was STUNNING and FUN ! Bravo to all involved!
The most chaotic wind ensemble song I’ve ever heard. I like it a lot and I can tell the band put so much time and dedication to make it sound amazing
bruh my ensamble has a month to prepare this😭
the bari at 5:10 omggg 😨 I’m an alto and seeing bari in the alto range with that control is so cool
Performed this in undergrad back in 1997. Definitely a fun piece.
Fantastic Sound
Amazing! Truly outstanding!
Love his music. I will buy more. American classical composers are really getting better known. I wish large city orchestras would play more. Why do we want to hear the same European stuff over and over?
The mallet part is a workout!
It really is. So much sophisticated rhythms and harmonies going on in there!
I have to play vibraphone on this for my high-school band class. It's going to take so long to learn 😭
performing part of this for marching band!
2000 cavaliers
I played this in my marching band
What band were you with
