The subway car samples are my fav. The volume automation around 5:15 is my fav. The v subtle vocal samples of rdj are my fav. This song is a fav of mine❣️
I had this play in a lucid dream and it was about me in a science laboratory that was huge and the floor was all metal and the place was half lit and there was a bunch of other scientists there and one of them was showing me across the place and at the end he showed this weird bulb energy thing and it was red and then it turned green and the dream cut off. Seems like that's the only dream I ever had that made sense.
An official R&S hosted version? Nice! I think I'll use this in my playlist rather than one of the other uploads. Nice to have the store info with the song.
When I listen to this song, all I can see in my head is a skinny mechanoid metallic blocky version of the he-man green tiger. But with anime streaks, greenish flashing electricity, glowing yellow green luminous robot eyes and screaming like a cougar while swiping its claws moving fast in a black blank background. I assure you I am perfectly sane no drugs required. haha

Lyrics " pyao pyao pyao doo doo do doo do do do do pyao pyao pyao"
descriptive sound. "pyao" does seem about right.
I think it's a sample from sonic and knuckles on the mega drive
pyow pyow pyao
Thanks for clarifying - turns out I'd been mis-hearing them all these years!

Interesting as Richard said a lot of his inspiration for this stuff comes from his lucid dreams.
Richard doesn't need to hear all this, he's a highly trained professional
that's really cool,
One of the very best. Loved this for years

Renaat en Sabine of R&S Records had this crazy nose for music like this. All together, you can say they were the absolute base of modern dance music.
so fucking good

God damn, there's so much Half-Life 2 influence in this one track that I feel like Valve owes dues. That said, I feel like Valve owes us WAY MORE.
This track existed waaaay before Half-Life.
This really does sound so much to both of the Half-Life games
This track reminds me of that game.

Yeah its not ambience, thats where volume 2 comes in realistically.
