Ah, this song. Encountered it through the fandom, and I'm never quite sure what to think about it. On the one hand, it seems to be about resets and toying with the world until it suits, which doesn't sound like a good thing (that's basically what Flowey was trying to do, wasn't it?). But it also sounds... hopeful? I guess its what anyone who's playing the game twice is doing.
Anyway, interesting choice for introducing an AU. Be interesting to see where it goes.

Hate-loving the fact my brain went into a pseudo meltdown mode and this was the song it chose to comfort me.
I listened to this when it came out and when I was riding the bus to school. I would keep it's beat and conduct along to it. I would surrender completely to it and completely ignore everything else, because for a good 30 minutes of the ride I was alone at the back of the bus and no one could bother me. I'd be up at 5 to take the bus at 5:45 to get to school at 6:45 for classes at 7AM. Back then I joked around with one of the other kids in a 3 month long what-if of if the world was taken over by zombies and how we'd survive, or what the best case scenario would be to survive. I didn't have anything to do until she showed up so I'd just drift watching the scenery as this played, along with a number of SharaX's other songs. I still remember seeing the sun rise through the buildings and blinding me, this song playing in the background and feeling like rain.
It's odd to be nostalgic for something not all that far in the past, but I can still remember most of the lyrics to this and a number of other songs by Shara by _heart._ I still have a handful that have survived a number of phone transfers some how and that crop up on in my downloads out of nowhere, this sadly not being one of them. I don't think I can quite explain just how calming and powerful this song is to me, nor to what extent Shara's music has shaped my life. These were my gateway into the larger fandom and what I remember most fondly of it.
