This was one of the most important matches in WWF/E history. And somehow, 2k14 did this better. I can’t explain it.

I have wrestlemania 17 on dvd & the autograph magazine from 2001. I remember watching this on PPV & it shocked me that Stone Cold would join forces with vince. Rocks mother was in the crowd. Rock was beat badly, then to make matters worse at the end stone cold picked up the belt & was waiting on the rock to get back up so he can knock him down again.

The showcase mode is great from an overall perspective but it would have been awesome if they would have included Rock VS Austin WM19!!! That was one hell of a match as well !

I love Austin vs rock at 17 but it would be dope if they did another match from that show like the tlc match or the hardcore, taker triple h. It’s a lot of match’s they can do. I see why they choose Austin n rock.

The game is approx 90GB cod made games over 100+GB so size should not be an issue i guess GTA 6 is going to be around 150gb imo

While in ring and Signature stored., perform an Irish Whip, then RT/R2 + X/Square. (or you can run toward opponent and press R2+SQUARE)

Dude this showcase is so bland.. It’s like more cutscenes and little actual gameplay. 2k14s showcase was way better. I mean I guess the cutscene footage ain’t a bad idea. They’re practically showing the whole match, so it’s cool maybe for younger generations to learn the history 🤷🏼♂️

I agree at least 2K14 30 years of Wrestlemaina included all of the Wrestlemaina’s. 2K24 is skipped over so many Wrestlemaina’s including 1 and 2 so it’s kind of a rip off calling it 40 years of Wrestlemaina when most of them aren’t included in the showcase.

I just commented that before I even read through the comments lol. Around the 8:55 mark or so u can see Earls reach The Rock something which was a blade then he got hit by the bell and the camera turned so he could give himself a nice little cut.

WWF logo. They have an agreement where it doesn’t have to be censored for archival footage (like on Peacock/network) but that can’t use it in any new media (games/DVD’s/ etc.)

The gameplay is still a D from A to F. Finishers land opponents near the ropes. Random reversals the Ai is worse than No Mercy which is still the GOAT and came out 20+ years earlier.

Apparently you can’t win with the rock, as you go to finish stone cold, it stops and says ‘that don’t work for me Brother’ 😂. Scandalous the amount of times stone cold won the rock especially when the rock was at top. Stone cold was deffo worse than hogan behind the scenes
