I'm currently doing the 90 degree Alley dock, I was taught differently as if I was doing it at the actual road test center with limited room to back up. Turn the wheel full lock all the way to the Right until the back of the Tractor is almost touching the side of the Trailer, then stop and turn the wheel full lock all the way to the Left to bring the Tractor back in front of the Trailer. You'll always have to do a pull up no matter what, because it's part of the 90 degree Alley dock. I was told to get out and look before you begin turning into the spot, that way you know if you have to pull forward or move back some more. It's gonna take me a few lessons before I can master it, without getting coach.
Pretty good. I wish we had the same set up at my school. The truck being used has more space between the front of the trailer then we have because it has a longer frame. He is on flat surface and on tared parking lot. We are driving a much older vehicle that cuts off in 3 minutes unless you rev it up. Our range is on a gravel surface and we are backing up hill towards the alley. In the video, the cones representing the outside wall is about twice as far as we have. So they have more room to maneuver then we do, I'm not cutting the driving down but our course is much more tighter and set up different. But either way its good driving.
nice video. Thanks for showing the tractor. That's what beginners need to watch, how to turn the tractor to make the trailer go where it should go. Those who just show the back end of the trailer are not much help, at all.

nice but can you do it 90 degrees without pulling up to straighten the trailer
I wouldn't consider this to be an Alley Dock. There's no enough cones to form an alley, making this too easy and unrealistic.
Thats not 90
that is no where near a 90. Look like a circle maneuver with a lot of space lol but each state is different tho.
