A kick tail can come in handy in urban environments where there are lots of curbs to drop or you need to pick up your board constantly. If you are cruising and carving around in open spaces then a board without a kick tail might be preferred

I have ATV-X ditch life, it’s a good blend of classic popsicle + Dinghy cruising goodness.
That’s why i went with the ditch life, just enough for small tricks and perfect for cruising.
