No matter what, it is still one of my fav TDs to play with. Yes, the gun sometimes hits everything from half of the map, sometimes you can't hit sh*t even at a close distance. Since there are obj279e and t95/fv4201s in the game and loads of hull-down tanks without any noticeable weak spot - I really love to rebalance these frontally with 420 mm pen. 1400 dmg/shot with HE is sweet again with a relatively high pen against low armored meds/lights/TDs. If you angle it correctly it even has usable armor. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!
In that first game, you had the patience of a saint! Jg Pz E100 shells troll worse than the FV4005/125 183! Many a time my lightly armoured tank would somehow bounce their rounds.
I loved it, when it entered the Battlefield. The premiumshells had, if I remember right, like half a Meter of Penetration, and went just through every Tower, it was amazing. Since the nerfs, I've barely played it again.

Saying that, I've bounced & seen loads of TH-cam Jg Pz E100 shells bounce when no apparent reason. Not sure if it's just WG's way of getting over bad server/data loss by saying didn't pen/bounced etc, or even their way of skewing matches/favouring one side, but it's soul destroying on a long reload & aim time tank when you've done everything right, & then....nothing
The arty killing themself is real problem... there are griefing whole game to you adn after that all they killing themself... its like work hard whole life and after that all you go jump from the bridge... just sad

That artillery killing itself would've sent me over the edge dude. Especially if I was about to get my first 10k. Would've found his house and killed his dog.
Wargaming should make a patch where artillery cannot kill itself unless they’re shooting an enemy tank face hugging them. So basically “one’s shell can’t deal damage to oneself except if enemy tank is damaged”
This is without doubt the most frustrating tier 10 tank to play. It is a hit-or-miss tank. You either do massive damage in a battle or do zero damage. If you want to keep your hair intact instead of tearing it off every time the gun misses its shot, then this is not the tank for you.
Had two games in a row yesterday with a guy in one of these, did zero damage both games. So of course he goes off into conspiracy theory land so I say to him if you're doing zero damage, two games in a row it's you not the game. Then to 'prove' his nonsense he tells me he's done zero damage 4 games in a row....
dont tink i ever did more then 500 damage with that ting. bounce is the most you get with that ting. 400 pen.... in your dreams. cammo is non existing eighter!

LOVED that you picked up on the arta committing suicide by the bridge. Most players will never see that, hell they dont even use the mini map at all.

Imo this thing needs a huge armor buff. Ain't no way 268v4 has way more armor and can drive around with 40kmh with ease.
