    I have had several Joker knives. All were well made, sturdy, and affordable knives. They are definitely worth a look. My personal favorite is the Montanero.

      Joker has awesome knives. I just did an edge retention test with the Nomade 6.5. Thanks man!👊👌

    Scandi grinds take a little getting used to, but once you get used to them, they eat wood like a beaver.
    The Bushlord is a carbon coppy of the Castrom Lars Falt knife. Joker is the OEM for them.

    Love your review of this knife, I've never owned a Joker before, but they look really nice for the price point. Is yours a convex or scandi grind?

    • @WhatsthePOINT_EDC
      @WhatsthePOINT_EDC  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      This one is a Scandi in Sleipner Steel and the Nomad 6.5 is a Full Convex in N695. Thanks JP!👊💪

    Just stumbled onto your channel..good stuff…I am a fellow a knifeaholic..got it bad..in the last 7 years I have spent at least$3200 on knives..from 2 schrades..16 moras....17spydercos I got on clearance..bot mora and spyderco were mainly birthday presents for friends and family....1 ahti..bark river aurora scandi..and 1 JX5..3 Dulo knives DBK knives for sons and I…2 Dulo puukkos..one curved handle..one regular..1 dulo large DBK...1 dulo leuku..and last but not least 1 Adventure Sworn classic..if I may please give you a couple pointers on how to better make feather sticks..Cody from Adventure Sworn says my feather sticks are wild..it’s only bc I practice..and have taken pointers from a lot of bushcrafters..til I found what really works for me..sorry..sir babbles a lot here..try holding the knife with the cutting edge pointed just behind the first knuckle on you index finger..grip only with the index and thumb..then middle finger..ring and pinky..squeeze the handle..that is called the closed grip..very powerful for push cuts..now to feather stick..it’s the same grip..but once you grip firmly..relax the grip..in order to change to depth of cut just loosen or tighten your grip..instead of changing to angle of the cut with your wrist..hope I didn’t offend…or that explanation worked..I too am a recovering addict..16 years off hard drugs..8 off suboxone..congratulations brother..

      Good stuff man! I’ve got a lot to learn that’s for sure. Lately I’ve been spending time carving, doing feather sticks, and today I’ll drop a video about a Try Stick challenge. It was my first time doing something like like that. Definitely learned a lot. It’s not as easy as it seems! Haha. The wood I chose was hard and seasoned a bit. From my experience I think soft wood would have been a better choice. It’s fun learning.
      Thanks for checking the channel out. I appreciate it man.👊💪
