Remember being 10 or so saw Chad and first wife Pam, who had a powerfull beautiful voice. Those early shows where fantastic entertainment. Such wonderfull memories. 73 now.
In the 1960s, I first heard Chad perform at the Warragul theatre with the Tex Morton show. Apart from Kevin Shegog singing Wolverton Mountain, I can't remember what the other performers sang but I do remember Shotgun Wedding & the other songs Chad sang at that show. Chad brought, sorry, brings real class to Australian country music & I am glad to hear he is still with us at age 86.
I like chard but how did this guy get an award, when there was an Aboriginal man who started out in the 50s right up until his passing he was JIMMY LITTLE.
