Whoa! You had me on pins and needles that close to the Steinway tower. I was like OMG, don't hit the glass! But that's as close as most of us will ever get to the top. And I do love the style of 53W 53.
You definitely do this for a living you have to be getting paid for this talent. If not someone should pay its incredible. Definitely idolize you style of flying, filming. Location is so full of different things happening. The city is soo detailed 👌 and who better than you and your style to show it to the world. Love it man
I am once again so completely amazed at the artistry used with the drone. I feel so fortunate to be able to see this beautiful city in this way. Every time I watch one of your videos I am truly captivated. Thank you so much for these. :o)
I watched the whole footage and man, just when I thought the previous one I viewed about the 53W53 yesterday canʼt be topped, this just blew me away. Everything about it plus the cold Manhattan ambiance makes the whole viewing experience a lot more amazing. 👏🏼 💯 Thank you so much for this! Please keep on doing more of these drone footage uploads. And I would like to request if you can do a drone footage on the Hudson Yards soon, please? 😊 Thank you and God bless! 🙏🏼 P.S. That stuck moment you had at the back of Steinway Tower was nerve-wracking! LOL
Always enjoy your wonderful footage. Wow, that was intense, getting stuck at that height with so little battery. I fly a drone for work, I would have a hard time dealing with that. And, I've had one (dji P3) fly away. Please keep flying, and stay safe!
thank you! thats awesome you flying for work! yeah, i was sweating bullets. I have a small radio beacon attached in case battery dies to help locate. but last resort for sure!
wauw again a spectacular drone film. Always enjoy the films and I am happy for you that you get connected with your drone, what if there was no connection anymore, did you get nervous? Can't wait for the next film cheers
thanks!! yeah, it will eventually land very slowly if i am unable to regain connection and battery runs out. it will most likely land on top of a building :/
Your videos are wonderful. I have seen that you record in manual Aperture F 2.8 etc ... But do you make the color d-log and then fix it in editing or do you do it in automatic color? Something happened to the drone, could you land it? or did you have a fall? It is strange that I do not go home and correct the obstacle, the truth is that you have scared me since I have heard more people with signal problems in the city. Is this the first time something like this has happened to you? Like and Thank you.
For very little you run out of drone. That failure to not return home when you lose the connection with the station, you have to let Autel know so they can solve the problem. Those of us who have the Evo 2 Pro see how Autel listens to the problems day by day in its users.
So far i have not used d-log, just using "none" or "normal" or whatever. i have been happy with the color grading ability in post so far. but now that firmware update allows h265 on d-log, i will start testing, and see if i can get more color in post. but so far i love the color science, and sharpness. the drone will never "fall" it will hover until gaining connection, or very slowly land. i forgot to set my RTH height higher than the tower, so it got stuck, instead of going up. In the city you fly - lose signal - drone returns home - repeat. you need to get used to losing signal. this has happened to me many times, i don't always get the drone back :/
Am i the only one whos startled buy just how much of 270 park avenue is torn down already? I mean like the last time i saw progress of it there was still the roof lol. Also, your cinematic work is a piece of art.
I do not understand what happened, because the building has been blocked and has not avoided the sensors, in the return to home the sensors have to avoid the obstacles. Why did that happen? I am the owner of the Evo 2 Pro and that worries me a lot.
the obstacle avoid sensors worked good. maybe too good? it got trapped behind the building, then with lost connection to remote (i was in front of the building in central park). normally the drone would ascend and return to home. however the RTH height was set too low. But normally the drone will go up like ten feet, try to go forward, then repeat until it clears the obstacle. its not smart enough to go around things. it will always land safely if battery runs out. I have a very small radio beacon attached in case of this scenario.
@@theDronalist So in this case the automatic climb didn't work to avoid the building? I have also put a sound beacon to my Evo 2 pro VIFLY BEACON What beacon have you put?
It is a no fly zone. Flying drones are off limits in the city and looks like he took off from Central Park too; city parks also prohibit drones/rc craft too.
Oups ! You must have being sweating a little to get back your fantastic drone safely without any damage ! Seeing that picture si near to the building i thought that would get worse ! Thankfully not !!!
Nice, but isn't this illegal? This could have damaged something on the Steinway tower. Or worse hurt somebody. And no way you can fly a drone around it like that if it were occupied, right?
Amazing video
I am really enjoying these videos, thank you.
Glad you like them!
These videos are amazing! Keep up the good work!
Thanks, will do!
Good close up shots of the Steinway tower though!! Lol!! Great video as always!!!

Happy to hear that!

yeah, thats crazy how fast things change. thank you!
Hello, very good images, thank you. Is the return to home activated?
thank you! yes RTH active, but i set my return home height too low. and the drone is not smart enough to go around things until low battery.
Another great video! Would love to see these buildings at night
Thank you! That would be cool!
53w 53 should of stood at 1250 feet. Such a futuristic 21st century building. Its still nice but city planning got it wrong. Anyway great shots. UK.
might not be the tallest, but we love her just the same!

@@josejuan6988 i believe i just has the RTH height set too low. so the drone did what it was told. I use the Marco Polo beacon.
Wow!
Dude if that drone came crashing down that could kill someone. Nice recovery
