I was a user of royal Enfield since last 9 years , and my long term experience is that , RE is using cheaper quality parts which will lead you to spend more on spare parts and servicing and other costs are more higher as compared to cb350 , Now I am an owner of cb350.

Meteor had flimsy plastics for both side panels, the mud guards and the tank lid, unlike stainless steel on Honda H'ness. The switch gear quality(Plastic and tactile feel) was also much superior on Hness. I almost booked Meter 350 before realizing that Honda CB350 was a better value for money at least in terms of fit and finish and quality.
Great decision..I had a RE for 6 years and trust me, it was the most untrustworthy vehicle your money can buy...No idea why people are still buying this expensive JUNK
What about the service and maintenance cost for hness for long run? Even I am thinking of buying hness over meteor... Just wanted to know if service and maintenance in long run would be less for which bike??
I have driven the hness through hilly terrains and plains as well. Upto my knowledge i found that this bike needs no exaggerated explanation as to why it’s simply a good bike. A lot of comparisons going on but i can always place my bet on this bike. 👍🏼
I had rusting and paint chipping issues on my H'ness from the first month. The transmission also has also been giving me problem since the recall fix. I guess all motorcycles at this price point have these above issues.

For anyone who is seeing this video, both of the bikes are good and not made for traffic left right maneuvers because both are made for cruiser perspective. Both bikes are heavy, and have pros and cons to themselves. These are not made for 0-100 stuff. Both are made to just enjoy the ride, I guess both does the job quite well

Pretty neat, but I feel the difference in vibration is due to the placement of the cup. On Highness there's no place to keep it on the fuel cap so there will be more vibration for obvious reasons, but I am not sure it vibrates more than meteor on roads.
If u Ride mostly in cities more than a long Trip RE is the best one compared to CB350.. The sitting position is like exactly as u sit on a chair, feels relaxed and u can avoid knee pain and also Back pain. The only thing RE have a Advantage of Honda

18 inch rear wheel of CB350 can be a challenge while changing the tyre. There are ao less options left for 18 wheel. I wish it could get 17 inch rear wheel.
You need to include the “sitting posture” test in your videos. Between the two which one has a better sitting posture for city driving with traffic light stops and for highway cruising.
The REs have severe quality issues. They launch faulty bikes sometimes and even when they own up to the issues, they never take any corrective measures. Honda on the other hand recalls bikes even due to the slightest imperfections. This shows the different attitudes of both the companies to quality

Yeah...man this is biased towards CD100. People know which one to buy as monthly sales proved it . Meteor have 3 times the monthly sales as that of hness and cb350rs combined. CL 350 has sales 15 to 20 times as that of hness and cb350 combined.😂 (Even after honda made the 350s available in almost all major local showrooms due to very low bookings from bigwings)
Sir in meteor standard versions also available that includes crome finishes, wind screen, pillion back rest and many more (i felt some points are misleading information)
I have done side by side test ride of both Meteor and Highness.. I am quite surprised he said honda isn't the most refined engine. Highness smoothness can't be compared with Meteor. It is the most refined engine in this segment compared to Jawa, RE, Yezdi.

Team motorbeam Good video, but but not conclusive on what to be picked and even having wrong info on vibrations in Honda CB350 (seems like small favour to Meteor), that’s very sad. Loved both bike but I picked Honda as there r no vibrations n superb maneuverability , specially in Mumbai, it filters through traffic like a proper City Bike and side by side Good on Highways. On comparison we haven’t considered features like Traction control n Slipper assist clutch as well as all metal Honda with better quality. Head will always go with Honda but heart can only go with Meteor. From Honda u will always get down with smile and reliability of Honda is unmatchable. Only glitch is Big Wing Showroom, but I am lucky as I m from Mumbai.
Meteor just stole my heart at first glance, i know honda is known for reliability but just look at the meteor. It looks like a proper cruiser bike whereas honda put everything to compete with the rival but their cb series still failed to replace royal Enfield. I mean what is wrong with honda and their production still needs improvement like meter console, handle bar and the entire headlight setup. Those who appreciate honda for their refinement must also understand that bullet and meteor still hold a charm because of their looks.

Test drove both the Meteor and CB350 (NEW. Not H'ness). Meteor is smooth at 60-70 kmph after which it starts vibrating really bad. No such issue with the CB350.
I have ridden both the bikes , highness engine is way more refined than enfeild bikes , it doesn't have vibrations unlike enfeild bikes , breaking is too good in highness , top speed is also good in highness

I think service network is the biggest plus for Meteor.
Meteor has lot's of chrome in it's Supernova variant and it looks fabulous specifically blue dual tone colour.

After 3500 km on meteor and changed to CB. 12000 km on CB and its just.... fabulous...
