There is no need to go like a super fast train when doing Kalpana swaras. The melody of this beautiful piece by Dikshitar that he heard on his deathbed is completely lost.

Swara exposition has been undertaken in Khanda nadai which is a laya feat in itself. A befitting climax to this masterpiece, especially since Dikshithar's compositions are known for their tremendous intricacy in laya. Nothing is lost for those who wish to experience as professed by Sadhguru himself "svara rAga sudhA rasayuta bhakti svargApavargamurA O manasA"

Who are you to determine what is needed and where when it comes to music? If you dont like it, we respect that. Your comment is proof enough to understand your understanding of music. Such comments expose the person who does, than the artist himself.
What is demonstrated here is a feat only a handful of great artists could even attempt.
