  • When I was working on Disney property, I've always envied the tourist that stayed at Fort Wilderness Campground, because it seemed like an impossible campground to book, even if I could sell my used kidney. I guess the silver lining to the whole pandemic, was the ability to book this camping trip on such a short notice. We grabbed our tent, my parents and headed straight to the wild Mickey forest. Although there was so much to do that I couldn't possibly record and show you guys, feel free to go to disneyworld.di... to see the full list Disney has to offer. We had a blast and if I ever get a raise at my job, I would definitely visit this Fort Wilderness Campground once more.
    It truly deserves to be an ultimate Bucket List Campground!

    Nice video, it does take a lot of effort to camp, but the results are priceless memories, great job.

    Nice, quality video. Great composition and editing. Love the humor and graphic overlays - especially the stress indicator. Lol. Cute family; glad you all enjoyed it.
    Could have used a bit more research - approved fire pits (must be contained with solid lid) and golf cart prices ($67 not $25 - I wish!) etc can be found on the website, Facebook or quick Google search. The fire pit thing is kind of a big deal there and don’t want to mislead people

    So no fire pits? Did you bring your own wood or did they sell it at the general store?

    • @NomadCamperFamily
      @NomadCamperFamily  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Only approved fire pits allowed or you can rent one on site. We bought our own firewood local to the area.

      @@NomadCamperFamily thank you. I’ll have to figure what are approved. We have a solo stove hopefully that works. Thanks again. Glad I found your channel.

      @@melissastreet9416 we’re in the same boat. Supposed to have a solid top so we bought the new cast iron griddle cook top for it. Should work and it’s also our method of cooking food.

    Do you know if you have to bring your own tent to fort wilderness? We wanted to camp here one day! Looks fun!

      Although pictures on their website incline you to believe they have them on site, I don't believe they rent them. You can visit Orlando REI store to rent one just in case.

    If I leave my tent, would I have to be worried about items being stolen?

    • @NomadCamperFamily
      @NomadCamperFamily  ปีที่แล้ว

      In most cases there is never an issue. Most state and federal campgrounds are gated. I would not worry too much about other campers, rather than locals. There are only few campgrounds that we stay away from, you can tell by campground proximity of the trash, trailers and parties to know, your stuff should probably be secured or avoid these places all together.

    Charming video, but audio is killing me. .music doesn't relate to family, camping, Disney, discomfiting.

      @NomadCamperFamily  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for your constructive opinion in regards to music 😀 Can't agree with you more. Music choice takes the longest during editing, I think I've gotten better over time. This was one the earlier video. .

      Yeah as we were leaving a campground, I noticed the coincidence of similar fire pit between the campsites. 👍
