If you slide down the slide normally (without taking any shortcuts because that'll slow you down 14:41), and perform a jump, with the speed built from sliding, Mario can jump far enough to get to the pillar, and you'll have to perform a well timed wall jump to reach the top.
I think its called Whomps old fortress because maybe Whomp moved to a new fortress so this is his previous one or old one like how you would say thats my old school or house etc

It gives you full 360 movements emulates the analogstick to the touchscreen movements), wide screen and i think its also an higher resolution. The mod is kinda easy to install if you have a modded 3ds, and i think its only for new 3ds. It would be cool if you made a video about it since i heard you disliked the ds version because of the controls. You can also record you n3ds screen over wifi with a mod in case you dont know how to do that, or use an emulator but i dont know if you can install the mod on an emulator..
