You've likely heard of the Battle of Brandywine. Maybe you're even familiar with Birmingham Hill. But have you heard of the Graves family? They owned the land where so much of the fighting took place on September 11, 1777. In this video, we peel back the layers and study how the battle impacted this Chester County family.

This is all interesting stuff. Great material. I'm watching this now after having gone to the 245th Brandywine Battle anniversary on Sandy Hollow Park yesterday. I hope more of the open land is preserved.

I think i know where the Graves home was. At our home on Birmingham rd the foundation did't "fit" the house.My father said there was another house there before this one.This was later backed up by a contactor.
