I was there that night, watched UFO, Cherry Bombz & Ozzy. Shared a cigarette with Jay k lee who was the coolest with his 2 different coloured converse sneakers. Ozzy was also playing the Newcastle Mayfair the same night. A night to remember.
Watched this when it was broadcast. Used to have it on VHS but fear the family taped over it!!! So glad it has resurfaced here. Also saw them live at the Marquee. Great band, albeit short lived.
I was there! Tyne Tees TV studio in Newcastle. I dont remember this band,but Im sure Ozzy Osbourne was the main act that night. Alan "Fluff" Freeman spoke to me and a friend during a band's performance but we couldnt hear a word he said. We nodded politely to him.He could have been saying anything. We briefly met Jool's too. He hadnt had a shower that day and seriously needed one. He stunk. lol. T
