You can go one of two way both of which can easily be ordered off a Amazon! You can go with “water kefir starter” which is good for a few quick ferments or you can go with “water kefir grains” which are good infinitely as long as you continue to feed them! The grains are actually a scoby just like kombucha has! If you can make kombucha then water kefir will be a cake walk! Also a reminder that milk kefir and water kefir are very different!
It was kind of in the middle of a soda and a seltzer. It wasn’t as sweet as a soda but wasn’t as light as a seltzer. It was a good light sweet carbonated drink. It definitely had the syrup taste and since it was kefir it had a ever so slight sour taste like kombucha but lighter!
@@ceelothatmane9421 give it a try it’s easy! You can order the water kefir grains on Amazon! And to make it easier you can use you favorite fruit juice instead of syrup!! Plus it’s good for your gut health!

Less sugar. 120 grams of sugar in 1 liter of water will yield about a 2% ABV. keep the qty below 60grams sugar/liter and your kefil will be less than 1% alcohol.
Where can I get kefir? I make my own kombucha, and I'd like to try kefir soda as well!

Very cool!
Thanks!
does the water kefir ( with no grains) ferment the rest of the drink?
Okay now this has been the most interesting I’ve seen on your channel. Did the soda have the syrup taste or did it taste closer to seltzer?
