As an ex offensive line coach in college, offensive linemen never look good in pass-block/pass-rush drills without pads. Very unfair drill, favoring the defensive lineman

yeah if Morgan doesn’t become a solid LT that pick is not justified, look at the opportunity cost of the pick.
If he becomes a solid backup at LT and can compete for starter or solid backup at another, we can’t expect too much more til he gets some playing time

I think I agree with this ranking overall, but the one thing I would disagree with is moving Morgan up just based on him being tried out at multiple positions. He's a first round draft pick, so I can also see the Packers' mindset as: "We need to find SOMETHING to make this pick work..." If he's moving around because he keeps getting beat out at each position by someone else, then that's a sign of trouble to me. Counterpoint would be that - as it is frequently said - the Packers WANT flexibility on the line, so the variability in position so far could just be purely trying to crosstrain to ensure he's ready to go in or even slide over in the event of an injury elsewhere. But the news of the plethora of issues as the first round pick without too much news of "wow, look at this great thing he did", he has to be no more than "C" Tier for me.

I agree with everything but hopper.. even from watching your videos I would’ve put hopper at b or c.. he’s been getting loads of pressure and “would be sacks” for the 2nd team, and we all know our 2nd team line could be first team lines for some teams.

In doing this exercise, I believe that you need an “Incomplete” tier for players where you just don’t have enough information to grade them. At the very least, Oladapo should receive an “Incomplete” and maybe one or two other players so that this exercise is a little more accurate. However, except for Oladapo, I thought your rationale was reasonable for the tiers you assigned to all of the rest of the players.
In all honesty, this is a silly little exercise because as we all know we won’t get any substantive information in which to accurately evaluate the players until they are in pads going full speed.
But at the end of the day, there is a demand for this type of content because Packer fans want every little piece of information about our team as soon as we can get it.
So keep up the good work. I enjoy your podcasts and analysis.
King most likely a practice squad guy. Everyone had multiple chances to get him, after all and he has to play out of his mind to get noticed playing vs 3’s

Oh Bas. Not a good list in my view due to lack of any consistency whatsoever. If the ranking is based on OTA and minicamp then you shouldn't take into account draft position and future projections but rather how they performed. In that case Oladapo either cannot be ranked or deserves the lowest D-grade due to not being able to participate in the drills. He's clearly way behind everyone else at this point. Don't understand the B-tier for Morgan either. The guy has struggled so far with false starts, made mental mistakes and got pancaked couple of times by Rashan Gary. He's gotten the most negative coverage from the media thus far. At best C-tier so far due to playing with the 1s in practice. Tyron Hopper deserves a lot more respect, there are multiple reports on his TFLs against Lloyd and pressures against the QB. Moreover, Hopper basically plays the same snaps as Cooper minus some rotation with the 1s. Hopper should get a B-grade at worst and only due to not playing with the 1s. Cooper is a clear S-tier, by far the best rookie player so far according to reports. Pratt still doesn't know the playbook for which he got called out by LaFleur recently. He's not struggling as much because he's playing against non-NFL competition. Can't be a B-tier when you're playing with the practice squad.
I'd say:
S-tier - Cooper
A-tier - Bullard, Lloyd
B-tier - Hopper, Williams
C-tier - Monk, King, Morgan
D-tier - Pratt, Glover
E-tier - Oladapo due to injury
lloyd will be our number 2 and dillon will be our rb/hb/fb

I think you're off on Lloyd. I predict he'll get playing time at HB over Dillon. There's been whispers of Dillon moving to more of a traditional FB. Only other objection would be adding Edge Coop to the S tier. I understand your logic, but he's been outperforming Quay. Put that S on his chest.
I still don’t understand the Hopper pick. It was the worst pick of the Packers draft on paper and it will probably end up that way in real life unless he becomes an absolute stud special teams player then somehow makes it’s on to the defense. Idk, but I’m still pumped about Cooper and Bullard and keeping my fingers crossed King can be coached up
I would love for gute to be perfect.. but nobody is perfect.. and Tyron hopper wasn’t a pick to jump up about but let’s hope he develops into a great player.. but man if u have Peyton Wilson sitting right there y would u pick Tyron? And I’m pretty sure graham Barton would’ve been a better option.. this is what separates us from every other superbowl winning culture.. we just haven’t been aggressive enough enough

I think the Packers know he's going to struggle with everything on his plate. If they don't then the Packer coaching staff is dumb and will never win anything.
Part of me still wonders if the packers would of drafted terrion Arnold if he was on the board. I'm gonna be so upset if he became a star player. First jefferson and now Arnold
Packers got Love the best QB in the NFL in the second half of last season in his first starting season ever over a soft injury prone Jefferson who gets locked down in bump and run coverage vs physical corners. Arnold is a project at best. GB acquired a project CB in the 7th round so there's no need to waste a first round pick on a CB.

Very bias, you put a player with zero time (Oladapo) as C tier and a player like Hopper as a D tier!!!! Morgan should be C Tier…makes no sense
