    curious, Duncan, do you do eTunes in the States?
    Or if not, how much do you charge for consultations if I decided to do my own tuning?

      Hi. I don't do etunes as such but if you join as Academy plus member it's very close but with extra learning thrown in 😎

    I have a ej205 soo I don’t have the luxury of simple power numbers like that! It can be done but gotta go slow with the money I have! Great video lots of good information!

    Hi, brakes WRX OEM hold on this power? From what power should the engine be forged? Thanks

    • @racedynamix
      @racedynamix  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Carlos. Great question.. I have seen the ej205 engine break at standard power and I have customers running almost 500bhp on the std original wrx engine. They fully understand that it could break at any time and are ready to replace when that happens.
      The main weakness in these seems to be the open deck block and the bores go oval over time or large boost. High rpm is not good for the rods so they can break too.
      What bhp are you aiming for?
      Ps.. Which country are you from?

      @@racedynamix I am from Uruguay my friend. I have a wrx oem ej255 engine, i am looking to get around 300hp but as safely as possible. For now I have bought: mashimoto intercooler, catch can and oil cooler. I did not install anything for now I use the car only on weekends. he is like a son to me 🤣

    Didn’t know u could get them strong figures from a Hawk WRX with just a few mods. I think that now makes more than a standard STI PPP now 😮

    • @racedynamix
      @racedynamix  ปีที่แล้ว

      I am not 100% sure the injectors are 550cc std in the foz.. I will check. The Foz 2.5 would produce slightly power.

    Can these same mods make a 2007 jdm forester sg5 2.0 turbo Mt make the same power as that wrx??

    • @racedynamix
      @racedynamix  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi. I think similar power but foresters tend to be parts bins so whatever they had on the shelf at the factory when it was built will dictate it. So variable as to what they were built as tbh.
      Still a great car though imo 😎

    great videos and great job! i have a question : what hp should i expect from a vf34 with all the above mods? (2.0 ej 205) thanks

    • @racedynamix
      @racedynamix  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi. The vf34 is slightly bigger than the Vf35 in this Video so will flow more air and thus make more power. It is always difficult to say exact figures as every subaru is different but I would expect around 340 on a tmic on top quality fuel. 👍

    Another good video! My 255 is starting to grumble a bit so not sure if it needs replacing. Can I put a 340 in without a map tweak? It's an 03 blob sti running 326bhp.

    • @racedynamix
      @racedynamix  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah it should run just the same or at worst a little richer if the pump was a little weak when mapped. How long has the walbro been in ?

    Nice i have a JDM forester STI imported by Litchfield in 2007. I know they stop at 330hp with stock internals anymore is asking for trouble on the 2.5 apparently. And i can tell ya 330hp is more than enough haha.

    • @racedynamix
      @racedynamix  ปีที่แล้ว

      The vf41 on the Foz sti rarely goes above 330 tbh mine made 326. Mapped loads of 2.5's to over that over many many years without issues.

      @@racedynamix Ahh interesting like i say i just know Litchfield who are one of UK's best tuners wouldn't warranty anything over 335hp i think it was/ My dyno run was at 333hp it has 120,000 miles on the clock and still runs great! My friend had the 2.5 Hawkeye tuned to 480hp and he fried is piston rings after like 30k

      @@UKGBManny Think the issue with mine was the Previous owner allowed the garage that took care of the car to add an aftermarket downpipe and exhaust to the car and then never had it mapped, so its been running off for a few years. ALSO, the car had a stuck thermostat and bulging radiator pipes when i got it, I replaced everything but looked like the damage had been done already.
