Was waiting for this!! The ultimate hindutva-verse fantasy happened. One side of the same coin is an extremely balanced, behaved and spiritualistic platform and the other side is a brash, unforgiving and ruthless platform, but both coming together in a beautiful unison on the issues that matter with knowledge, wisdom and facts.

@@prasadchaturdesale5795 Hey man, I understand people of your ilk are either frustrated or pissed of that the hindutvavadis are organising. I won't abuse you as you would expect as now a lot of sane people who can articulate their point have joined the hindutva fold. And before you go ahead let me clarify that I don't agree with all the points/agendas of hindutva but that doesn't mean I have to bash it/oppose it. Take care and keep outraging.

@@aniketgautam9230 I think they are regressive about the fact that they only believe Vishnu as only God. Also they are strict about their rituals and practices. May be because of people may think them as regressive.

@@sakalasiva 1. Where this assumption came that vaishnavites only believe Vishnu as god. Most Vaishnavites are polythiests. Only Iskon claim that Shri Krishna is a supreme god.
      2. Vaishnavites are strict about their rituals as shaivites or shakth are. Vaishnavites follow vegetarian diet and what is wrong with that and how it becomes regressive if they don't harm anyone.
3.If they claim vishnu as supreme there is nothing wrong as a aghori will say Shiva as supreme or Devi is supreme.
      4. Atleast what I see shaivites have problem with different faiths as we know in history it is was shaivite king who prosecute Jains and vaishnavites. Also it was shaivite preacher who support ev ramaswamy when he speaks against vaishnavites.

@@aniketgautam9230 I agree with you. I summarized the view point from discussion for another question. I know Shivities are aggressive compared vishanavites. Let's make a distinction between castism and categorisation. At the inseption castism was a categorisation based of function that people performed in the society. Every function requires competence and specialization, so in the past best way to do so was to build from the experience gained in the family. It turned ugly because the consolidation in a function group resulted in certain atvanges over other and the power dynamics crept in. Unfortunately caste became identified with birth right. Casteism today has taken New Form also though the birth based castism is being challenged. Today you can be of any caste (birth) but functionally you can belong to some other caste. A Brahmin OF today can be a peon and a shudra can be a chief minister or teachers. So social migration is happening in a big way, which is great. So I am not to worries about castism. But discrimination will continue to happen in a society on various forms depending upon how power dynamics shifts today. The only thing that we can do is be mindful and watchful on various forms of discrimination that happen today and work towards equitable society.

Once you take on an identity, people are prone to make assumptions. How ever if being influenced by multiple sources and when you are a critic of things in part and agree to some other part, it is wise not to give your self a charvak identity. Also every one upgrades over a period of time. Some do it conciously while others do unconsciously . Just be yourself kushal.

Questioning is never prohibited in VEdAs. But what has been said in VEdAs is not refutable because experience, logic are the two parts of it. If one can deny one's own experience then one is lying to one's own self. In this context it has been said that VEdAs are infallible.

AIM only has to ask me. I will happily wash his feet. I consider him like a modern day Vidura. The wise and knowledgeable advisor who has your best interests in heart. You don't need to agree with him in everything. But you need people like him to preserve Bharat. True intellectuals who are unafraid to speak the truth.
Haan thoda tikha bolta hai. Par takla lakh take ki baat karta hai. I don't agree with him about his assessment of Vaishnavism. But in society, politics, history, foreign affairs, etc. I am a fan.
Being an admirer of Vaishnavas, i say Vaishnavas are like typical Hindus. They love Vishnu. But they respect everyone else. Just like we love our dharma. But we try to respect everyone else.
Since, they accept Visnu to be supreme, their philosophy is at risk of being 'Abrahamised'. But since Vedas are the basis of everyone in Sanatana dharma, there's a corrective system in place.
Dharma is dynamic. And so are its followers. We cannot characterise dharma like religion. A set of beliefs and/or rituals. Its more then that.
For example, Iskcon is another group of Vaishnavas. They managed to implant a piece of Vedic culture in the west. That requires innovation and dynamism.
We can't have that if we are deficient in knowledge. Disagree with him on anything. But atleast take that lesson. His confidence is not false confidence. Its a true one. Woh koi dialogue he na? Main jhukega nahi. Reel chodo. Real dekho.
