    one of the greatest , if not the greatest, tempos in the history of golf.

      Seems that whenever golfing oras start working out, gyming and such...... it result in negative performance on tour. Less wins. Compared to what they did and practice to reach the top. Almost without acception all of them fair worse since they start "bodybuilding". Wonder if there is statistics available.

    I love how his hands are so free at the start of the downswing...just lets the left side pull everything through....awesome

    If anyone is wondering why there is a club in the ground it's because he is working on not taking the club too far inside. Typically you put one club length behind the ball and one clubHEAD behind the target line if working on not going inside, and one clubHEAD ahead of the target line if you want to work on not going outside.

    De los Swings mas suaves que he visto en mi vida. Creo que todos los que nos iniciamos en el golf, deberiamos imitar a este jugador. Grip bajito y ritmo suave, cojemos calle seguroooo!!!!!

    @sandersuperfollador you are right, it is better to hit from the inside to hit it solid. The problem for Vijay would be coming too far from the inside (his natural tendence) which he is trying to avoid through this drill. That's why I said he is trying to avoid what 99% of golfers try to achieve. Most golfers come a little bit too steep and from outside

  • @sandersuperfollador
    @sandersuperfollador 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @danic18 but how can you hit it solid if you dont come from the inside?

    @Eaglesman12 ...Great observation, I was so focused on his tempo and 1-2 rythym..

    You could take any one of those swings and it would be a thousand times better than any hack I've taken at a ball. The fact that he only seems mildly interested with the result is even harder for me to take.

  • @smithersandburns

    You are incorrect. He won't hit the bottle if he comes over the top to avoid the shaft. That would only happen if the bottle was inside the target line, but his bottle is outside the target line so he can come inside on the followthrough all he wants. He just has those things there so he won't be too inside out. He could swing way over the top like a hacker and not hit any of that stuff.

  • @danic18

    I won't try to emulate this drill, he's trying to avoid what 99.9% of golfers are trying to achieve, coming from the inside. You have to got his talent to be able to do this drill without developing an over-the-top plane.

    @apnwahoowa
    lolz no he doesn't. The shaft is to keep him from dropping to the inside (he hates hooks) and the water bottle keeps him from getting outside it on the way through. There's absolutely no threading to be done.
