I’ve never supported any other team for nearly five decades but my own regardless of the circumstances nor ever wanted them to lose to a rival so they didn’t win the title. Ange was clearly irked by way too many Spurs supporters celebrating City effectively winning the Championship rather than backing their own team. When he later reinforced many of the same concerns Conte and Mourinho raised around the weak mentality at the club, you know he’s correctly struck a nerve.
You’ve never been in that situation. Only Liverpool fans in 1995. Who got away with it because Utd didn’t win on the day either. It’s an incredibly unique scenario and a stick that fans of other clubs are quick to beat Spurs fans with but would undeniably (imo) realise that it’s not as clear cut as many are making it sound. Would Everton fans want to beat Man Utd if it meant Liverpool won the league a week later? Would Aberdeen fans want to beat Celtic if it mean Rangers won the league etc etc… you have to be in that specific scenario to understand it. And the result changes nothing for us in terms of our progress under Postecoglu as Champions League is not necessary (his words, he used Newcastle as the example). The Conte and Mourinho links are weak and lazy and completely different. If he’d been calling this out after losing to Fulham in GW29 then yes, stronger link because mentality does need to be questioned. But this scenario we were playing the best team in the league who had won 17 out of their last 19 or something like that. Undefeated since November/December. It’s not the same.
The fans are not immune to criticism and big ange was right to call some of us out...the response since then including yours has been nothing short of shocking... surely we should care more about our own future rather than Arsenal and take petty digs at Saka? This video is a good summary of why we are where we are as a club
So you are telling me Spurs is just a noisy neighbour pretending to be a big 6 club? You will turn against Ange because he dared to question this? Keep losing good managers like Mourinho, Conte and him. moments like this will stick. Imagine the scenes if Arsenal now somehow win the league! 😂
Ange contradicted himself and used a single point of reference in a 0.0001% situation to define the entire club. It’s a misstep from him. I’ve forgiven him for that already, I get why he’s pissed off. Now we move on back to the 99.9999% where we believe we can win every game.

On Ange btw, I get completely why you guys were pro-city on the day but I do think you’re wrong for being pissed with Ange for hating that. We should all want a manager who value winning above everything else. Particularly clubs with the budget of spurs, it’s the only way you’ll get to be a winning club and have a hope of competing with the city’s of this world. Ange reminds me a bit of Klopp 2015/16 here, willing a fan base that’s not used to winning into that mindset. As a Liverpool fan who’s loved that ride, I hope you stick with him… Enjoy the break lads.
Hey both. Planning to listen in to your watch along stream on Sunday but I might not be able to if I’m out with mates (it would be slightly rude obviously, lol). But just wanted to say thank you. This is my first full season of playing FPL whilst watching content. My friend has been leading my main mini league all season but I’ve overtaken him right at the end and am now clear at the top by 29 points! Yes Gvardiol!! I’ve gone from 1.37m in GW33 and am now 506k. I took some risks earlier on in the season (Darwin!) which didn’t pay off but 137 points in GW34 really helped. You are my favourite content along with Scoutcast (Andy, Seb, and Rich). FPL Harry gives fantastic advice and I enjoy FPL family but the 2 main streams I mentioned are my favourites. You boys bounce off each other and Scoutcast is also really informative. Adam and Baker - I’m sure I speak for many when I say keep doing what you are doing. It’s much appreciated 🎉👍🙃

Only just discovered your pod this year and one of things I love is that you don't bang on about overall rank. Some of the big pods just bang on about it and it's not really enjoyable. I'll be listening again next year :)
Oh my this is ridiculous, the fan base has now accepted being spursy?! We dont deserve Ange, should be at a proper "big club". This is why we will always be a "weak club". Keep singing blue moon.
@@OceanLoader it was hardly up for grabs. We had to beat the best team in the league and then at the weekend, and then hope that Villa lost their final game. It was a pretty unlikely scenario.
