Phases: if you're having trouble identifying which planet is B and which is C, count 6 houses from the apex (sharpest point) and that is your 150° inconjunct. Count 8 houses from the apex and you reach the 210° inconjunct.
I have 3 yods in my astrology chart and one of them is actually the example that you used in this video! Saturn in 13• Aries, Chiron in 12• Scorpio and north node in 14• Virgo! ~ synchronicities right there!!
Thanks again, Simon. As I stumbled into this YOD video today, although I sent you a private thank you a few months ago for your comprehensive body of work, this video spurred a public comment to your keen insights. YOD's are tricky and living with one or two can be torture from time to time. My YOD is similar to the example you present in this video. Apex is Jupiter/10th, trauma in Pluto/Virgo/3rd, limitation (Mars and Neptune in the 5th House in Scorpio). I have another one that includes Saturn at the apex, North Node at the crisis, and Pluto. I've always considered this second one as minor, but who am I to say. I'd encourage anyone with a YOD to get a comprehensive reading from Simon. The understanding you get will not give you the terms that are held in the YOD, but it may make the path just a little more comfortable to tolerate and navigate with dignity.
This explanation of the Yod is quite make sense if I observe my past 40 years on this Earth. What the Yod deprives the native is to be content and embrace the B planet(s) and the house of the horoscope. I'll explain how that happened to me. So in my early life I was struggling with my life, I couldn't get so far, life development was a struggle in almost every areas especially in the B house. But other things weren't go well, too. So during my Saturn Return which is one of my planet B cause there's a conjunction at B, the C planet appeared out of the blue in my life like a miracle, like a fairy and made an offer that he can help put my life onto path. He said you won't need to struggle any more, come with me, I'll take you on a life adventure. So that was the time when I embraced the planet C. And the adventure began. From here I refer my first 30 years as pre-C period and the last 10 years as post-C period. Just to make sense and easy to understand. So the journey began. And indeed, planet C made significant improvement in most of the areas of my life in the last 10 years but I had to accept that no future contentment will be taken place at the B house and planets. And everytime when the Yod gets activated I experience mourning and emotional torture, frustration because there's no further hope to be content with B. And yes, C puts you in a walled garden where he shuts the door behind you and you can't go back to your pre-C life (and there's nothing to enjoy there whatsoever that's why I hopped on the planet C) and he puts you in circumstances where tapping into B is unaccepted and even unlawful (Yes, C made me move country). So planet C actually helps a lot but B have to be sacrificed and be let go. So what I noticed that I couldn't really involved in B in my pre-C life because it just didn't work out well and it's completely denied in my post-C life. Hope that helped.
10th House: Sun, Moon, Jupiter, Venus in Gemini / Mercury in Taurus conjunct MC 3rd: Pluto in Scorpio 5th:Saturn-Uranus-Neptune in Capricorn (conjunct) I have a double YOD between sun & moon. Pluto in scorpio and Neptune in Capricorn form a sextile, and are both quincunx my sun & moon. . Saturn is also quincunx my sun & moon, but 1 degree out of orb. My whole chart is a yod - 10th, 3rd, and 5th house rulers. With the exception of the 9th house Ruler of 1st house in 10th: Ruler of 2nd house in 10th: Ruler of 3rd house in 10th: Ruler of 4th house in 3rd: Ruler of 5th house in 10th: Ruler of 6th house in 5th: Ruler of 7th house in 5th: Ruler of 8th house in 5th: Ruler of 9th house in 11th: Ruler of 10th house in 10th: Ruler of 11th house in 10th: Ruler of 12th house in 10th: An astrologer looks at my chart 5 planets in the 10th with Mercury conjunct the MC, and they say wow perfect chart for the career. But what I'm lucky in is opportunity. I have had a lot of unique jobs, but nothing solid. If there was ever a need to decipher a Yod, someone with Pluto in the 3rd who's chart centers around their Yod, needs it deciphered the most lol. I try to stay positive, but guidance is slim
No ways, I understand that not getting this, but I think you just need time to learn a great foundation. I found these to be difficult at first, but it is the reason why I created the YT page, to teach myself
i have 6 yods in my chart and have been studying astrology since 1978 and just started to look at it. since most people have so much access to astrology through the information highway of the computer it can seem overwhelming and not enough time to study on your own. that is why it is good to have other people look at your chart because sometimes it is hard to see what you can't see. and with a yod the planets cant see each other.
Hi Simon! Thank so so much for this video! I have been waiting for it so badly now I have to seat and reflect on my chart ! I do relate so much with the blind spot energy so great full that I am starting to see clearly :) my yods are: mercury libra (12) sext Neptune sag(2) focus point north node Taurus (7). MC Leo sext kiron Gemini (8) focus point Jupiter Capricorn (3). MC sext kiron focus point mars Capricorn (3) thank you for your time !
Great stuff! Now I understand my YOD the finger of God more it helps when you understand the houses and planets and representation of them to see what’s hidden. Thank you!
Yes, and I feel that what we are missing is the sense of connection to the archetypes, so we spend time not able to read the map that is right in front of you. Glad you have found connection to it.
Hands down the best teacher of astrology I’ve come across. Your content is super clean and well put with great in depth content and meaningful graphics. You’re great but you could get even so much better. But you know that.
Thanks for this, Simon! In the example chart you used, there is a second yod involving Chiron (focal point), Neptune and Pluto. I thought it interesting to see a chart with 2 yods.
My boyfriend's chart has two Yods in it and so I looked up this video trying to learn more on what they mean. His chart says: Yod MC in 8° Gemini Neptune in 10° Capricorn Mercury in 4° Scorpio Saturn in 9° Capricorn And the other one: Yod MC in 8° Gemini Neptune in 10° Capricorn Sun in 9° Scorpio Saturn in 9° Capricorn
Simon I’d love to see your insight on the boomerang yod, I do soul portraits and I’m trying to find a better understanding of this specific formation. She’s a healer and at the top of the yod conjunct inbetween the sextile helped planets are Chiron and Mercury. Uranus at the base, Jupiter and mars at the in conjunct locations.
Fantastic reading! Even though my Yod is different from the one shown, I could make a great interpretation of my own chart, understanding the way you explained each detail. One thing that really helped is that the dispositor of the focus point of my Yod is also Neptune in Sagittarius in Midheaven. Thank you for this video! I’ll subscribe to your channel 😊
Thank you SO MUCH!!! This is the first thing I’ve watched about Yods that made sense to me and I was able to get a far better understanding of my own yod from what you shared! ❤️ (I have Gemini Jupiter in 2H 6 degrees sextile Leo moon in 5H at 8 degrees, Capricorn Uranus apex in the 10th also at 6 degrees and my Uranus is additionally in opposition with my Cancer Chiron in 4th at 7 degrees)
I have 2 degrees Mars/ Pluto in Scorpio house 2, 60 degrees (58 degrees) away from Jupiter/Neptune 29 degrees in Sagittarius and both are 150 degrees away from Chiron in Taurus house 8..!!! and all my planets are within 86 degrees of eachother and they are a yod with my moon and north node in Gemini
Thank You Simon! This has greatly helped me comprehend the purpose of a yod in my chart. Im still trying to understand what it means for me personally. My yod involves a focus of gemini chiron in 8th, crisis of scorpio pluto in 12th, and limitation of Capricorn neptune in 2nd. Open to feedback from all here! Thanks!
Thank you for this:) I am struggling to find information on the Golden Yod. Would you examine it in the same way? Don't the Quintiles and Biquintiles indicate ease in the expression of Apex planet?
Brilliant Simon! Thank you for taking time in creating this explanation video breaking things up in a more clear manner. Have more clarity now looking at my 6 yods.
@@RaisingVibrations Yeah lol 6 Yods, my chart is a very challenging yet an interesting one. My beloved and I have 5 Yods together in our composite chart and a Star of David which there's not much information on this.
Every astrologer I've seen seems to get stumped by my chart lol. I would love to get a chart reading from you in the very near future and see your insight. I have Pluto in the 12th Scorpio.
i have a similar yod to your example. mercury in aries inconjunct moon in virgo, moon in virgo sextile jupiter in scorpio and jupiter in scorpio inconjunct mercury in aries..mine is mirrored, mercury in 7th house. thanks for your video
Thank you!!!!! Mom has 2 Yods. Been trying to figure this out for months now. Are you doing any other patterned videos? I'd love to understand the kite, or even the cardinal cross. Hell, I'd love to understand all of the patterns. Lol. Thx again for your insights
I have 4 yods, 2 grand trines, a kite, and a multiple planet square. I’m an Aries with a Sag moon, and yeah ya know what? I have no idea what it means. But FRICK it seems rough after watching this. Thanks for the informative video, friend.
The finger in my chart is pointing at Chiron, Moon is the gibbous where people definitely tell me improvement is needed, haha, with Sun sextile to form the other arm. Weird coincidence, it's a sextile between Cancer and Taurus pointing at Chiron in Sagittarius, just as in your example. But my Chiron in Sagittarius is in the fifth house. Funny, writing it down like this while you're talking gets it into my brain more solidly.
Please help :( Focus: TAURUS merc 5th house (IC) 150: MOON libra 10th (MC) 210: SAG Neptune 12th (MC) There has always been this “nag” I feel so unsure where I need to head in life. If there is no nag i’ll be just fine but there is. I am sure it doesnt help that im sun cancer asc cap. I feel pulled apart by opposing energies. Life path 1 enfp. Recently had “transformation” where i felt like my thoughts and feelings are becoming one-friendly and working with each other as opposed to alienation.
Thank you for this video!! I understand yods a little bit better now; I happen to have a yod with the signs that you used as an example... Mercury (in Taurus, 5th house) sextile Jupiter (in Cancer, 8th house) which are both inconjunct my Sagittarius ascendant.
So in your case this would show an active expression(mercury Taurus/5th) of your own needs and how they relate to your deep emotional desires(8th Cancer). The link to the asc is to bring attention to ''your natural '' truth.
I appreciate your desire to help others and enjoy watching your videos here on TH-cam. Your ramblings as you have described them have helped me quite a few times in understanding several aspects of my chart and therefore myself (the significance of my Neptune placement for example).Thank you for your help in that regard (self awareness). I have read that there is some debate within the astrological community about what can be considered a yod or not based upon the focal point of the yod (no asteroids, etc.). I have been told by one astrologer that I do not have a yod and by another that I do. I see that you used Chiron as a planet in your example chart so based upon that I have a yod to Chiron retrograde 3 36 Gemini 3rd house... My Moon 2 56 conjunct Pluto 4 36 Scorpio 8th sextile Neptune 1 59 conjunct Mercury 3 49 Capricorn 10th... Any insight concerning how to better integrate these energies would be much appreciated...
hey could you maybe tell me a little bit about my "yods" i just got into astrology im 13 and im not quite understanding this i just wanted to know if there is anything you could tell me. here are my yods i have three of them 1. Uranus in 7° Pisces Saturn in 8° Leo Sun in 8° Libra 2. Mars in 23° Taurus Pluto in 22° Sagittarius Jupiter in 24° Libra Mercury in 18° Libra 3. Moon in 16° Virgo North Node in 13° Aries Neptune in 14° Aquarius thankyou
So I just thought it would be fun to share my yod. Saturn in the 9th house(aries), Sun conjunct Black Moon Lilith within 1 degree, my Sun is also conjunct my North Node a little more than 1degree all in the sign of Virgo in the 2nd house and last but not least Mars in Scorpio in the 4th house.
Now that is very interesting. I just checked my chart and I happen to have a YOD-configuration between the 2nd, 4th and 9th house: Pluto in scorpio in 2nd forms a sextile to saturn and neptune in capricorn in 4th and uranus in capricorn in 3rd which are all inconjunct to mercury and jupiter in gemini in 9th. I think this might have to do with the fact that I am a very anxious person and always afraid that everything will go downhill and end in a catastrophy (saturn in 4th = I have grown up with a highly anxious narcissistic mother) but at the same time I do have faith that the universe will take care of me and everything will play out well, which up to now has always been the case^^ So it is like both aspects are fighting with each other. My fourth house is very anxious and afraid of catastrophy and my ninth house is like: you need to have faith dude, everything will be fine, don't you get it? I hate mysef for this and am like: how can i be anxious but have faith at the same time? Thats so contradictory. I see this all the time that the universe means well and helps me out a lot but I have a hard time fully trusting in the universe and I am like: well, what if this time everything does go wrong? So my fourth house really needs to figure out my ninth house, I guess. You know, I wish I could have deep faith but without all the anxiety^^ Thats how I would interpret my YOD-configuration, at least that is the crisis and confusion I see playing out for myself here. I think this is about integrating a feeling of safety and security (4th house) by resolving the blockage and clearing the confusion my 4th house has with my 9th house, as in being able to fully integrate the feeling of faith in the universe so that I can feel safe and secure. I feel like the pluto in 2nd wants to show my saturn and neptune that I am worthy of being taken care of and be protected by the universe and therefore I can have faith. my 2nd and 4th house are giving me the most pain and they defenitely are counter-acting my feeling of faith and blocking the access to the 9th house. so they need to figure the 9th house out in the course of my life. I am amazed right now how these energies seem to be connected in my chart (unless I totally missed something). Thank you, Simon and as always, excellent video !!
AlexanderWachsmann, you need to teach people how to master their moral foundation. It will help them function on positive energy level. Once the positive level becomes constant, the material part will follow.
My configuration is very similar to yours in my first yod. My Pluto in Scorpio 2H sextiles Saturn and Neptune in Capricorn 4H are inconjunct mars in Gemini 9H. Also very anxious as well.
Simon, it looks as though there are two yods that are connected. The one you spoke about with Neptune, Mars, Chiron and there is also the yod Chiron Pluto Neptune. Please comment on that and give another lecture. Thanks in advance
Looking forward to that! Mine is moon taurus 5th opposite pluto in 11th, i understand the sun is looking at the 8th but this house and the whole aspect is too vague. You gave me some insight on pluto in 11th btw which was big.
What does that mean when we have planet focus Jupiter R Cancer (5th house) having a yod with Mars sagittarius (9th house) sextile Venus Aquarius (12th house) thank you :)
Hi Simon, I have one too: Moon in the 11th(Gemini) - sextile Chiron in the 9th (Aries) and the apex is Mercury in the 4th (Scorpio). What I have a hard time with is to pinpoint which one of the quincux are the gibbous or the full. Do you mean always in regards to the Apex ? So that would make the first the Aries -Scorpio ( crisis) the Gibbous one and the Gemini-Scorpio (limitations) the full one ? Or is it the other way round ? My mother died when i was 12 years old and that lead me to have this enormous compulsion to study by myself: philosophy, astrology, psychology, alchemy, litterature, languages and to live abroad, etc. Writing is my thing and I feel a great need to share (writing or teaching - I also have Jupiter in the 9th) what I have learned throu' all these trials... for now it's still a struggle, hope to be able to find a way to empower this Yod. Plus I just found out today that my natal Chiron sits exactly at my MC/Jupiter midpoint: feels a bit like a need to be/do something but at the same time like a pain. Thank you Simon.
Hi! Thank you so much for this video, I have just found out I have a yod and you explained it very clearly, but I don't think I have enought knowledge to read my Yod so if you could briefly tell me something about it I would be very grateful 😊 My focus point is Mars in virgo in the 1st house and the sextile is between Jupiter in aquarius in 6th house and Saturn in aries in the 8th house. What is my personal evolvement about?
This is so interesting. What a great vid! I would love if you can give me some insight on a yod in 2nd house libra (stellium mars pluto Saturn), 4th house Sag (stellium sun, mercury, Jupiter) and 8th house Aries(moon). I have been looking everywhere on the internet and cannot seem to find an understanding for what it means. Your vid gives me hope in understanding.
I have two yods and I’m just now starting to learn about these patterns, let’s just say my mind is exploding right now. Lots of AHA moments, but still a lot of confusion and questions. My Pluto in Scorpio 2H sextiles Saturn and Neptune in Capricorn 4H are inconjunct mars in Gemini 9H with the first yod. And my second yod has Mars in Gemini 9H sextiling my Sun, Mercury and Venus in Aries 7H inconjunct with Pluto in Scorpio 2H. I feel there’s a looping somewhere in this story of mine. Not to mention that Pluto was in Retrograde at the time. My birth story is even wilder. So, just wrapping my head around a lot here. 😅
Hi Simon, thanks for your video. It was very interesting! I have friend with 12 yods and wonder how that could translate into life? She has a stellium in Gemini, Leo and Capricorn, so all in all combined there are 12 different yods. I am not sure whether a yod is usual but having 12 at once seems a little intense and unsual. What do you think? Looking forward to hearing your opinion!
I love this video, Thank you Simon. I have a YOD in my chart It begins with Mars in Taurus 1st, Moon and North Node in Libra 6th and Venus, Mercury Sun and Saturn in Sag 8th. What questions would I want to reflect on to better understand this placement?
with this combination - it seems like building a strong sense of self reliance (Mars 1st) - learning to integrate healthy boundaries between yourself and others - (Venus/Moon/NN 6th) - Saturn in the 8th supports a healthy integration of emotional/intimacy with others that is not leaving you feeling isolated or co dependant
Very helpful information, thank you! So, does this mean that whenever a transiting planet passes through the unoccupied yod focus point of a natal sextile (or a planet transiting the unoccupied sextile point on one side or the other of a natal inconjunct) that the period of that transit will be triggering the crisis and growth opportunity presented through the forces/influences of the yod aspect that is formed?
So someone with a lot of sextiles in their natal chart (which are usually considered more favorable aspects) can actually be experiencing a life as a continuously challenging minefield as every transiting planet activates each YOD point one after another.
what about Chiron being at the apex (10th house Taurus) and Pluto (3Libra) sextile Neptune(5 sag)? will it still be a yod? n my purpose is to heal self n others?
+Simon Vorster you are absolutely correct! in my childhood I was rarely seen or heard as the middle child. I guess it affects me when communicating with others. I get very upset when ppl ignore me(Leo asc). I explode within. you are good! now I accept my fate and no longer lash out with words I just feel pain accept it...not sure how to transcend and how it relates to career. but I have problems with authority figures, always make me feel inferior, now I ignore it..
Mireia Domingo Yesterday I was looking at a friend’s yod and it’s just the one you describe... and she’s ascendant in leo too! Born on 27 May 1983, is that your birth date too? She’s a very especial person and you could be time-twins!
Thanks, very interesting. I'm wondering if other aspects from the planets in the yod would have an effect on the yod... I have a yod with focal point uranus in cap(2nd), jupiter in leo(9th) sextile mars in gemini(7th). -My uranus is conjunct neptune as well as trine moon, mercury, venus. The jupiter is conjunct SN and MC. Mars is square moon, mercury, venus and opposition AC... so do I need to take all this into account when looking at the yod?
In a sense yes, as they are all making some strong aspects. The main thing to see here is that your are trying to find individuality in your needs(Uranus 2nd) through finding what is the natural expression of your (pov) Jupiter 9th house and then through an active/listening expression of diversity in relationships with others, you will see what is right or not right for you. You are especially learning to see your own resources in relationship to others
I am so greatfull to find this info..thank you for teaching me. My yod are these mercury and venus in 4th house, virgo. Neptune in 5th house ,scorpio.all pointing up to Saturn in ,aries. ...Sun virgo ,moon scorpio, ascendant gemini. Why am I here..? 😕🙁 feel detached from every one.
Saturn Yod apex in Aries imposes isolation, and requires you to develop self-reliance and fortitude through adversity. Aries gifts you the courage and initiative you need to get through the challenges.
I have 2 Yods between 4 planets: Moon/Mercury -> Pluto, Pluto/Neptune -> Mercury, and in which Moon square Neptune. That's a very intense combination. Each planet is very strong (Moon Aries, Mercury Gemini, Pluto Scorpio, Neptune 12th) but then their different energies conflict all the time. My friends with easier aspect between Moon or Mercury with Neptune or Pluto have strong intuition (or even psychic ability) and spiritual guidance everytime they dream or synchronize. Meanwhile I only feel a bunch of confusing signs that I don't even want to notice because I can't confirm them either. It's true that I doubt myself. Sometimes it's tired when I thought that I've just figured a thing out but my friend said it's wrong and I lost my confidence and my interest right away.
W S No it’s not true. This type of statement is one among many that belong to “cookbook Astrology”. Why is it not true? This idea that aspect patterns are only valid if they involve real celestial objects, that is, physical bodies (such as planets) comes from the nonsensical belief that energy is only experienced, felt if it’s in material form. This is not true at all, and we can see this by observing phenomena in the universe and even in real life: electricity, electromagnetic energy (ultrasound and wifi) are good examples. I bet nobody will ever say that those energies don’t exist or don’t affect us just because they’re not in physical form. So why should we invalidate non physical forms of energies in Astrology? It makes no sense to me at all. I have a Yod with Moon, Venus and SN and I definitely feel the energy of the SN into play in that aspect pattern. I should add that I have no planets in the sign/ house of my SN.
This was really informative, thank you. I have a question, if you have more than one planet in a yod, how do you configure that? For example, one of my yods (I have 7!) includes Mercury as the focus point (9th house/Gemini) and the sextiled planets are Pluto (3rd house/Scorpio) Neptune and Uranus (both 4th house Capricorn). Any insight would be appreciated!
Please help me,I am afraid and don’t understand my Yod...I have the “apex” in Neptune (Aquarius) 1 grade and the other two in north node (Virgo) 4 grade and mercury (cancer) 2 grade what would this mean?
I have two yods. There are certain things in life that make my emotional state suddenly turn into an emotional hurricane, where I'm totally consumed and confused with negative emotions. I feel suffocated and want to runaway, but then desperate and helpless cause I need it... Yet I can't put my finger on what the core issues are....I know there's a pattern but I don't know how to follow it to understand....slowly getting there..
could you please help me understand my yod? I have a moon apex in 1 degree Gemini conjunct to pluto in Sagittarius 27 degree and neptune in libra 26 degree
Hey Simon! I have Chiron Sextile Mercury, Mercury Bi-quintile Neptune and Chiron in a quincunx to Neptune. Moon is opposite Neptune. So how do I interpet a "Yod" (If you can call it that way) with a biquintile and a quincunx?
My yod bases are jupiter in the 11th house cancer , ascendant 1st house Virgo and the pointing one is Uranus in the 5th Aquarius , I’m gonna need to do more research to understand this better because other than Jupiter it also shows my mercury and sun next to Jupiter they’re also cancer and 11th house and I’m confused about that
I have two yods both of which have aspects of Chiron in Gemini at 27 degrees and Lilith in Scorpio at 29 but my vesta is Taurus and descendant in Capricorn degrees is that normal or weird idk 😐 am I just full of family trauma lol 😂
Totally correct for your souls' evolution, whatever those dynamics are reflecting is what's playing out in your life. Great wisdom can come from those aspects if understood correctly
I have two yods in my chart, both have my North node involved. Can you please do a video involving yods aspecting your north node, Chiron, ascendant or any maleficent planets?! Thanks!!!
Simon, regarding the one leg of the YOD having 210 degrees . Both legs have 150 each. At least i don't understand the reason one would add the sextile to the upper Leg ? Did you read this from a book or come up with this on your own . Perhaps you are right ,i just dont see it ,tho . I have a boomerang Yod all in tight degrees . WE have A YOD group on FB , called Yod Astrology
hi i have yod boomerang , it is my mercury 1st house sextile my pluto 11 house and then appex to the moon in cancer 6 house with jupiter in the middle, i would love to know what this means thank you i saw your video but i am a little confused
When you look at the dynamics of energies in the 1st, 11th and 6th, you are looking at a soul who wishes to break free, 11th through initiating a new direction, 1st that brings into focus a need for adjustment and inner assessment 6th in order to purify the nature of what is the truth for you. Jupiter. In other words, what truth do you subscribe to that ultimately alignes you with a group that can inspire you to be a better version of your self

An astrologer looks at my chart 5 planets in the 10th with Mercury conjunct the MC, and they say wow perfect chart for the career.
I have a yod to neptune in scorpio in 4th. I am beginning to realise it has been influencing my whole life...
"I'm confused, I don't understand, I'm not good at this" maybe my yods are just trying to tell me I'm shitty at astrology LOL.
This was very understandable, and applicable even though my Yod is placed differently. Thank you!
The visuals were very helpful more so than just watching someone talk. great video- thanks!
i have two yods and am trying to understand, thanks for this video hahah ill get there
Same....what have you learned about having 2 yods?❤
Same
@Gage Rex thats fucked
This was really helpful bc yods have been fucking me UP lately.
Focal point, crisis, limitations. Blind spot, helping you. Houses, planets, signs.
This helped me see more layers of two major themes in my birth chart. Thanks very much, indeed!
Great to hear Dortha
Wow, I finally understand my Yod with Eris and Saturn pointing at BML. Thought I would never really get it; thank you!!
Awesome!
Saturn, Neptune and Venus YOD. This helped alot man, thanx
Just learned I have a 5 planet yod in my chart & my son has 3 separate yod's. Oh my!
Wow that sounds intense
Thanks for this, Simon! In the example chart you used, there is a second yod involving Chiron (focal point), Neptune and Pluto. I thought it interesting to see a chart with 2 yods.
Yes, this is true, and I am excited to share another video on outer planets and yod configurations that are generational
My boyfriend's chart has two Yods in it and so I looked up this video trying to learn more on what they mean.
His chart says:
Yod
MC in 8° Gemini
Neptune in 10° Capricorn
Mercury in 4° Scorpio
Saturn in 9° Capricorn
And the other one:
Yod
MC in 8° Gemini
Neptune in 10° Capricorn
Sun in 9° Scorpio
Saturn in 9° Capricorn
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Does north node count in yod formations?
Simon I’d love to see your insight on the boomerang yod, I do soul portraits and I’m trying to find a better understanding of this specific formation. She’s a healer and at the top of the yod conjunct inbetween the sextile helped planets are Chiron and Mercury. Uranus at the base, Jupiter and mars at the in conjunct locations.
One of the best videos I’ve found on Yod’s. Thank you Simon.
Awesome, I am glad it helped
Thank you SO MUCH!!! This is the first thing I’ve watched about Yods that made sense to me and I was able to get a far better understanding of my own yod from what you shared! ❤️
(I have Gemini Jupiter in 2H 6 degrees sextile Leo moon in 5H at 8 degrees, Capricorn Uranus apex in the 10th also at 6 degrees and my Uranus is additionally in opposition with my Cancer Chiron in 4th at 7 degrees)
You're great! Thank you so much, this is really enlightening and my Soul always appreciate that 💜✨
I have 2 degrees Mars/ Pluto in Scorpio house 2, 60 degrees (58 degrees) away from Jupiter/Neptune 29 degrees in Sagittarius and both are 150 degrees away from Chiron in Taurus house 8..!!! and all my planets are within 86 degrees of eachother and they are a yod with my moon and north node in Gemini
Perfect...Thanks for sharing. Your the best...
Thanks for your support and care. Glad you liked it.
That was EXCELLENT! Best explanation EVER!
Wish I don’t have any Yod at all! Mine is Saturn - Moon - Jupiter.
Very well explained! Thank you
Brilliant Simon! Thank you for taking time in creating this explanation video breaking things up in a more clear manner. Have more clarity now looking at my 6 yods.
6 yods o my gosh.
Very interesting! Your explanation is excellent. Thank you for sharing.😊
Brilliant breakdown! Thank you.
Happy to hear this :)
WTF! I have a triple yod!!! I guess that explains a LOT… whilst simultaneously confusing the f:@? Out of me.
i have a similar yod to your example. mercury in aries inconjunct moon in virgo, moon in virgo sextile jupiter in scorpio and jupiter in scorpio inconjunct mercury in aries..mine is mirrored, mercury in 7th house. thanks for your video
I have four Yods... And a Rectangle
Excellent video!! Thank you
20:32 I see two Yods in that chart...the other one is pointing to Chiron as apex
Please help :(
Focus: TAURUS merc 5th house (IC)
150: MOON libra 10th (MC)
210: SAG Neptune 12th (MC)
There has always been this “nag” I feel so unsure where I need to head in life.
Simon Vorster thanks for the explanation!😀😀
Raising Vibrations can you explain my Yod it’s
1. Sun in 14° Pisces
Ascendant in 15° Libra
Jupiter in 9° Leo
ok i have 4 signs in my yod what does it mean?
Chiron in 21° Leo
Neptune in 19° Capricorn
Venus in 22° Pisces
Uranus in 19° Capricorn
Melis Karadeniz so have you learned more about your YOD?
i have same lol
You have 4 "planets" in your yod not 4 astrological signs.
Phenomenally Explained. Thankyou!!
Thank you. You did an awesome job breaking that down.
My Yod focus starts with 15° Leo in the 2H, inconjuct my Venus in Capricorn at 18° in 7H, sextiling Mars in Pisces 12° in my 9H.
Any insight concerning how to better integrate these energies would be much appreciated...
hey could you maybe tell me a little bit about my "yods" i just got into astrology im 13 and im not quite understanding this i just wanted to know if there is anything you could tell me. here are my yods i have three of them
1. Uranus in 7° Pisces
Saturn in 8° Leo
Sun in 8° Libra
2. Mars in 23° Taurus
Pluto in 22° Sagittarius
Jupiter in 24° Libra
Mercury in 18° Libra
3. Moon in 16° Virgo
North Node in 13° Aries
Neptune in 14° Aquarius
thankyou
I have Aquarius Moon apex with Cancer South Node sextile Virgo Pluto, interesting video, thank you.
Chiron in 4° Leo
MC In 4° Pisces
North Node in 6° Cap
Sun in 4° Pisces
Thank u for an excellent explanation
Glad it was helpful!
I just checked my chart and I happen to have a YOD-configuration between the 2nd, 4th and 9th house:
Pluto in scorpio in 2nd forms a sextile to saturn and neptune in capricorn in 4th and uranus in capricorn in 3rd which are all inconjunct to mercury and jupiter in gemini in 9th.
Very well explained !🦄
Simon, it looks as though there are two yods that are connected. The one you spoke about with Neptune, Mars, Chiron and there is also the yod Chiron Pluto Neptune. Please comment on that and give another lecture. Thanks in advance
Hey Simon do you have any info on the T-square? i have one in my chart and i'd like to hear your thoughts about it.
Totally - I would love to share way to do this. I am thinking of doing this in a series.
Thank you!
Your yod is totally clear, the name you gave your TH-cam channel says it all from my point of view.
Hi! Thank you so much for this video, I have just found out I have a yod and you explained it very clearly, but I don't think I have enought knowledge to read my Yod so if you could briefly tell me something about it I would be very grateful 😊
My focus point is Mars in virgo in the 1st house and the sextile is between Jupiter in aquarius in 6th house and Saturn in aries in the 8th house. What is my personal evolvement about?
I have the same placements just in different houses 🤔
Great video ! Helped me figure out my Yod (:
Hi Simon,
thanks for your video.
How is your friend like?
...impossible : )
Wouldn't that require like 30+ bodies?
Pluto is currently conjunct my Yod Apex Moon... It's being hard
I have two yods, four T squares, and a mystic rectangle in my natal chart
Yes, exactly. This brings us to a point in which we progressively understand that the YOD has over time shaping the evolutionary intention.
Part of me feels, that this is more about the souls woundednes with the father, and the inner child and not being seen and or heard
Mireia Domingo
Yesterday I was looking at a friend’s yod and it’s just the one you describe... and she’s ascendant in leo too!
Thanks Simon :)
Excellent 💡 thank you 🙏
I like your explanation. Thank you
So my Yod points to Aries 12th house with venus & Sun? Help! Support is coming from Uranus in Scorpio and Jupiter in Libra
I have the exact yod that's apexing chiron. Except it's 2(pluto),4(Neptune) ,9. With mars conjunct chiron in Taurus as the apex... Uranus boomerang.
Please do a video where you explain a chart with 2 Yods!!!
I have a yod in my chart but it involves two bi quintiles and a quintile. Does this have any significance?
Someone told me that these patterns really only work regarding planets, not points. That seems odd to me. Is that true?
I have a yod. Focal point is Venus in Cap, with Saturn in Gemini (A), and Jupiter in Leo (B). It’s been hell. Really hard.
i have FOUR yods on my chart pray for me
are yods bad??
Fantastic 👏
This was really informative, thank you. I have a question, if you have more than one planet in a yod, how do you configure that? For example, one of my yods (I have 7!) includes Mercury as the focus point (9th house/Gemini) and the sextiled planets are Pluto (3rd house/Scorpio) Neptune and Uranus (both 4th house Capricorn). Any insight would be appreciated!
How would you delineate the YOD in the above chart with Chiron as the apex or focal point; Neptune and Pluto in sextile?
What are your thoughts on boomerang yods?
Activation points -
Please help me,I am afraid and don’t understand my Yod...I have the “apex” in Neptune (Aquarius) 1 grade and the other two in north node (Virgo) 4 grade and mercury (cancer) 2 grade what would this mean?
Does the Yod gets activated from any angle or does is start with A?
I know my question will be overlooked : )
Any Angle -
My yod bases are jupiter in the 11th house cancer , ascendant 1st house Virgo and the pointing one is Uranus in the 5th Aquarius , I’m gonna need to do more research to understand this better because other than Jupiter it also shows my mercury and sun next to Jupiter they’re also cancer and 11th house and I’m confused about that
Hi everyone, thank for the video firstly, buylt also for your comments.
Is MC condidered as a part of a Yod or just only planets and satellites?
WE have A YOD group on FB , called Yod Astrology
hi i have yod boomerang , it is my mercury 1st house sextile my pluto 11 house and then appex to the moon in cancer 6 house with jupiter in the middle, i would love to know what this means
thank you i saw your video but i am a little confused
When you look at the dynamics of energies in the 1st, 11th and 6th, you are looking at a soul who wishes to break free, 11th through initiating a new direction, 1st that brings into focus a need for adjustment and inner assessment 6th in order to purify the nature of what is the truth for you. Jupiter. In other words, what truth do you subscribe to that ultimately alignes you with a group that can inspire you to be a better version of your self
