Can you tell me how the bottle rocket is timed? I don't get how they make sure the brake part of the bottle rocket ys facing the right direction?? Do they make sure the threads are always the exact same on all cherry bombs and bottle rockets??
I love and have the A2 Tweety Bird on all my ARs. It performs better than most brakes or comps i have ever used and so minimally different on others that i cant see any reason NOT to use them. Especially when they are sub $10 or even FREE if you ask your local gunshop if they have any in the back. There is a reason we have used them on every rifle since the A2. Its the best middle road device there is.
I Picked up a cherry bomb recently. Make sure to Double check all the port holes are clear before shooting with a suppressor right away. Mine had several metal shards left hanging from the port holes not being fully punched out.
I have the Q setup on my Bergara 6.5 creedmoor and love how it looks and functions. I did have to barely snug down my bottle-rocket with a wrench to get the tapers to work correctly. I have the plan B ready for when my suppressor gets out of jail.
Nice looking rifle. I got that exact configuration built on a TN arms lower. No fancy paint job, a railed front gas block , flip up metal iron sights, and a 1.5x 4 optic. It's a great set up.
try to do a test similar to the "muzzle brake shootout". gun strapped to a weighted sled (lead sled). measuring tape or yard stick strapped down. very consistent results.
I appreciate you not using camera tricks to get a sub MOA group. You kept it real to replicate your " average Joe" } me. At the range. Excellent videos as always. 🤘
Nice. Like the idea of the taper mount. I just threw up a super short review of the Lantac Dragon. I think it would be cool if you tested these out with that one. The Lantac as I'm sure you're familiar with is regarded as one of the better ones out there. I think they just released a 3 lug suppressor version also. I'd love to see these side by side. Cheers 🍻
As far as recoil mitigation goes the Lantac wins, it will make any .308 shoot flat; it's overkill but I have one on my Galil Ace 7.62x39. As far as a suppressor host goes though, the cherry bomb is the best out there, tapers before threads are where its at.
No scientific reason I'm watching this...it's just cool great content with high-end goodies. The 16" barrel with front sight up there looks really cool. Video on that rifle anytime?
Hahaha, how tight did you tighten it down? I probably should have mentioned in there, by hand tightening it, it hinges on "how tight" you can get it. You need the taper to seal, otherwise you will get carbon past it. Sorry buddy. :)

Kit Badger Kit Badger thx for the reply! And thx for doing the vid. Still haven’t found any other user reviews other than “here’s the product description.”

Idk if you'll read this comment, but i have a Dead Air Wolfman can (9mm). I want to buy the Q Cherry bomb for my Banshee (9mm). If I also get the Plan B silencer mount, will it work with the Dead Air Wolfman?
Question: what's the measurement of the external threads? I just had a thought... Since the new 8.6 Cherry bomb is MASSIVE, and affixes on 3/4 threads, I wonder if... if the original cherry bomb, being little, has 3/4 threads on the OUTSIDE, then maybe you can use an 8.6 direct thread on a 300 blk with a cherry bomb, if you want to use one can on 2 guns if different size (on one direction). If so, this mighty allow an unfortunate accident if you can put a bare 8.6 muzzle in a trash panda... baffle strike? But I'm trying to figure out how to put a suppressor that's prepped to go on an 8.6 also onto a 300 blk without that 300 blk being specially being made to take that giant new 8.6 cherry bomb... which it isn't.
Is that front sight on the dissapator pinned? I love that front sight but when I built my dissapator I had to use a clamp on yhm and have never liked the idea of it being a clamp on

Ya, my bad. I should have spoke more to that. With the silencers, you can get them hand tight and seal (depending on grip strength I guess) since they are easier to grab. The Bottle Rocket can use ratchet if you're going to want to make sure you have a solid seal.
That was my conclusion since the silencers have more force with the grip to rotate them and seal -- i-- just want people to know so they don't get their threads / tapers dirty lol (mine aren't pretty anymore LOL)
