Presentation by Ernest James Harris on his long career working for the US Department of Agriculture as a fruit fly ecologist and biological control specialist at the Hawaiian Entomological Society on 30 April 2012. He has published over 120 scientific papers and was honored by the Arkansas Black Hall of Fame (1999), the NAACP Hawaii Chapter (2012) and the Alpha Phi Alpha (National award in 2013).
