Great footage. I remember the station at Telegraph Point. It was always one of the 'checkpoints' that we counted off in the 1970s as we made the two-day drive from Sydney to the Gold Coast in the August/September school holidays.
Classic scenes! The line up to St Helena - one of the most iconic scenes on the line - is so overgrown today that you can't believe trains once ran up and down that hill.
I still remember watching a story about Telegraph Point and it's well cared for garden that Mick Gleeson built from scratch from The early 60's well into The 70's. especially with The Staghorns and The Ferns that came from the forest. This came from one of my DVD's titled Tracks and Trains of Australia from The ABC.
@@busestramstrains5819 I Know it is Greg. I'm not questioning your original footage i was merely reminiscing. That and watching your footage i find to be very interesting indeed.

Ex Grafton boy. I love that North Coast stuff. Started work at the Grafton Ulmarra Dairy factory in December 1977 after I left school.

All good.
Same month and year as the Malcolm Fraser v Gough Whitlam election.
