I'm not in love. It's an odd feeling, really. An old friend of mine passed in a car accident a few weeks ago and I never really stopped to think about how much I missed talking to him after almost four years of pretty much silence. I never really stopped to think that I really wouldn't mind if all the things' people used to say about us, that we'd get married one day or fall in love when we were older, had really happened. It never really occurred to me, not until his grandmother told me the first thing she thought when he died, even after three and a half years, was we would never get married now. Me, of all people.
I like listening to these songs as a reminder of what we did have, even if we were ten years old and running around making stupid TH-cam videos and annoying his older brother. I'll always regret losing contact with him, for not trying harder even though I had begged my mom countless times to let us hang out again.
I'm not in love, just missing when I was closest to it.

Im so sorry, man. I hope you are doing okay. I know you might not. But, i just want you to know that although you can't change his passing, you do have the memories. I hope you know he appreciated you and im sure he knew your situation with why you couldnt always hang out. Love ya, man. Stay strong
