Hi Niels, I. am working on creating. a nice pause after my backstroke and then a smooth transition that accelerates through the cue ball and completes the forward stroke with continuous natural follow of the pool cue. I want to have a nicely timed ,smooth pool stroke that is not an abbreviated punch, or jab like motion. Your stroke exhibits the elements I just described. Keys are the pause at transition then smoothly accelerating and not hitting AT the cue ball but stroking through it . I know it takes deliberate purposeful practice and time. Your thoughts ? Thanks Terminator . Dexter

I love all your videos Niels! This one especially, because when I first started learning how to hit the rail shots with low outside to spin back, it was a real game changer! That was with the ball slightly off of the rail. I didn't think I could pull it off with the ball touching the rail.
This video made me try it and after a little bit, I had a breakthrough! I have all the shots in the vid down, and I love the drill.👍💪I hope to get a picture with you in AC if you're at the US Open. I would LOVE for you to win it. I'll have my Terminator Tips shirt on!

I’ve been doing this drill since I came back to pool 8-9 months ago. I love this drill.
One thing I started to learn (and incorporate) from doing this drill is the path of the cue ball going 2, 3 and 4 rails… this comes up on many, MANY other shots. I’ve also noticed it’s not necessarily the speed but how much the rail bites the applied spin.
