Constant change means constant city planning, otherwise they stagnate and die. Vancouver, in my opinion, has always moved ahead with city planning with a look the future, and they do a pretty good job...even if it is a pain in the butt, especially right now with the viaduct and street changes, special events, Gastown...OMG
Moving a bandstand closer to traffic noise is a dumb idea. But I'm disappointed that the current council is unwilling to spend a reasonable yearly sum on a long term plan to transform and protect the important beach area while the mayor uses public money and a public space for his own personal gym. Vote out Sim and his anti bike council.
