I thought you missed the boat a bit on the Orioles. They hit five home runs against the Tigers in the first game of the series (none of them being from Gunnar). The Tigers made some great defensive plays robbing Cowser of a home run and Santander of a hit, which could have won the second and third games, respectively. Burnes has been dominant again his past two starts. They just beat the Yankees in New York with more production from non-Gunnar hitters.
They are playing better again at the right time here.

The Mets’ biggest concern is being the Mets, vibes be damned. And they’re actively and swiftly getting bounced right now. Looked terrible against Atlanta, looked terrible against the Brewers, arrows all pointing straight down to LOLMets hell. ‘Twas ever thus. 🤦🏽‍♂️ (Why do I root for this team? Oh yeah, because I grew up in New Jersey-and I hate myself.)
