I don't understand why people are complaining. They clearly said "Inspired by" and they explained how the dresses reflect the princesses personalities, they made it appealing for real weddings not costume parties. That's what fashion designers do, they get inspired and create, not copy and paste.
These are a massive let-down, especially the Tiana dress. Compared to her actual wedding dress in the movie it's incredibly plain and stale. With her dress and the Snow White dress he says that the flower details are supposed to be water lilies or apple blossoms - but they're entirely wrong for those flowers, there's no resemblance at all, they don't even have the right number of petals, they're just generic. All of the dresses feel like something I've seen dozens of times, none of them have anything special or magical. They really failed to be creative in their translations of the characters, these dresses are just too safe and with the expectation created by the names of iconic Princesses they end up seeming frankly uninspired.

I got Married in 2011 in the Cinderella Dress. It was gorgeous and I felt like the Princess I always dreamed of being. I didn't use the matching Veil because it was too long.

This collection is a big disappointment for me. The fabrics LOOK cheap, especially for the prices they want, and the styles are a miss. There isn't even one dress from this collection that I would go down the aisle in; not even one. Back to the drawing board, seriously.

I mean in both the cartoon and the live action movie, Cinderella's dress had sleeves on them.....where are the sleeves!!! Cinderella is one of my favorite Disney Princesses, and so I was excited to see the wedding dress that was created for her.... but when I saw it, it was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT and a LET DOWN!!!!!!! As far as the other dresses go they were stunning but I think you could have brought a little more accuracy to the dresses, to really bring out the Disney Princesses and who they were and what they were all about!!! I mean no girl/woman wants to be an almost accurate Disney Princess on her big day, no she wants to look, feel, and be an actual Disney Princess.....down to the last detail on her special day, because she is special and because she is worth it!!!!! It should be called the Almost Accurate Disney Princess Collection not the Disney Princess Collection!!!

I love how the starting point in price is $599... I know that the wedding industry has inflated how much a wedding should cost but at the same time? Not everyone has $600 dollars to throw away on a dress they will wear only once. Some people don't even have that much to start with. As for the dresses themselves, I have to agree that they aren't very inspired. All of them are white, and while that is traditional now days I don't see many of these princesses wearing white gowns for their wedding day. I feel like these dresses are just like anything else that is on the rack at any other wedding shop, just slap on a different name.

I must admit, I got "Prom." vibes towards the Jasmine dress. As I had a similar style for my prom. Fitted and in the colour light blue.
