    Excellent series and really well edited. It is proof of my motto "I'd rather be lucky than good" as it's clear Maj. Winters had a lot of it (or the Germans had none). Thanks so much for sharing this - you did a masterful job and I enjoyed the sound effects as well. I really hope you will continue to produce these.

      I have honestly never rolled like that in my life. I can't believe how many 6's I rolled especially for the Americans :)
      I definitely will be making more of these. I'd like to make at least a couple of each war-game rules that I own so people can see if theres a game that would suit their own individual tastes

    John,
    Finally got some spare time to watch this last part. Excellent stuff. My wife looked over my shoulder and saw the lights in the smoke amongst the rest of the terrain. She was very impressed, and I can only echo that.
    I have nearly got Bolt Action now. Only nearly though - it is on my wish list. I think I will be getting it by year end though. Too hard to resist. May be coming back to these videos once I get close to playing a game.

      Shaun Travers Good to hear from you :) I have to say your wife has most excellent taste Shaun :) I'd recommend Bolt Action. It's one of the most enjoyable rules I've ever played and in the end that's what its all about.

    Your US paratroopers are awesome. Any way I could get a list of paints and the colors you used for their uniforms and backpack/equipment. Thank! Awesome videos

      By spending a unjustifiable amount of time on it ;)

    by the way could you make the 3 crossfire video.

    • @JD77ATH
      @JD77ATH  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well the two Crossfire vids I did were just a tutorial. It was never really meant to be an actual game. But I would definitely do a full Crossfire game in the future. I'm also contemplating a Chain of Command AAR. It's a rule set that I really enjoy and would like to contrast it with the Bolt Action rules. There are often arguments about which is the "best" rule set which is really quite redundant since personal opinion is subjective. I really enjoy both sets immensely.

    • @JD77ATH
      @JD77ATH  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +zombieslayer12345ify There's a combination of this chap's www.ebay.com/sch/wikkywok/m.html?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEFSXS%3AMESOI&_trksid=p2053788.m1543.l2654and Crescent Root:www.crescent-root.com/

      +Ftisr Lsat yes they did but I added extra bits and pieces and some weathering too

    • @JD77ATH
      @JD77ATH  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Ftisr Lsat you're welcome. No they're actually 28mm. I have other vids using 20mm but the minis and the crescent root are 28mm buildings
