@@jackgoff6215 in season or not, he’s gonna drop one second at trials. First of all everyone else was going 1:47, but second of all people were going 1:46 200 frees in the 1990s and 1:44’s 20 years ago. US middle distance is ass rn
@@SovietYugoslav we can talk about the subjectivity of what is considered to be impressive (regarding in/out of season and relative to personal best swims). but 1:46.0 is the fastest time in the world this year not swum at a championship meet. the fastest people in the world were swimming the times youve mentioned shaved and tapered at championship meets and its totally unfair to compare, especially when this swimmers fastest time is 1:45
It's not 'meh' in this time of the season. Compare it to athletes who run the 100m dash: nobody has run under 10 seconds so far this season, but several will do, and by a long margin, at the Olympics. You've got to look at things from the correct perspective.
omg 😍😍😍😍😍😍
Very impressive
USA 🏊
Lol to the comments ⚰️ But seriously, more under water footage.
“Impressive swim” 💀
And he doesn't even look happy at all after seeing his time, lol
it is pretty impressive for an in season time. i assume hes not tapered. for reference michael phelps's fastest 200m at one of these is 1;45.6
@@jackgoff6215 interesting

this time “1:46” is impressive?
And he was WAY ahead of everybody! But I mean, they are at their slowest in Olympic season, so Kibler will only get faster from here.
1:46.0 is impressive for an in season unrested time
that time is... meh
