So love that Lily adds "y" or "ery" to anything she can't quite think of a better or more accurate description for. "Vanillery", "green-y", "Pink-y"etc. And it's contagious apparently, hence Fleur making up the words "nude-y", "mauve-y". 😂
Charli I didn't know it was uncommon in England- I think many Americans naturally add 'y's to the end of words :--) (It is very common - - in my experience!) :-)
You two are my favourite TH-camrs! :) I love that you actually put a lot of effort into your videos (especially you Lily) and produce really nice content that's informative as well as entertaining.
it is, but I never do it, because usually they throw things out when you've returned them. I think it's such a waste, so I usually try to give it to a friend, unless it's something REALLY expensive. it would help if we could test things in the drugstore more easily.
I'm American but I live in England now and I MUCH prefer the drugstore system over here! It's so nice to be able to test a shade in-store rather than get home, realise it doesn't work and then have to get in the car, go back to the store, etc. Grass is always greener I guess ;)
It's Just Kate It's pure marketing though. They just want you to 1) buy things easier without thinking about it too much -knowing that you can return it, although many people don't, or 2) get you back in the store to return things, but then also potentially buy something else.
***** Yeah, I would MUCH rather be able to test something before buying it. Like Nat, I rarely return something, and there are plenty of things I'd consider buying if I could get a feel for the texture, or the color against my skin.
Loved this video, you and Fleur are two of my favourite TH-camrs! I so wish I could get my hands on some of those brands, they look amazing! They need to expand to the UK.
Oh Lily!! Those Wet n Wild glitter shadows are awful! Thank goodness it was cheap! I am so happy you had such a great time in America! I keep telling my husband we need to take a vacation to England. I am sure I will enjoy it as well. Cheers!
I LOVE that Smart Shade lip butter by Almay! It feels so nice on the lips and the color is great. It doesn't stay on all day b/c it's more "balmy" but the texture makes it worth the purchase. I've went and bought more just b/c of the way they feel on the lips.
I have the wet and wild glitter and I really like it! Warning though, it can go everywhere so make sure to wash your hands or you'll find it all over yourself. I like to press it on top of eyeliner it looks super cool that way
Lily, that eye glitter does have a gel that helps it stick but it's pretty easy to use, and I think it will suit the purpose you're looking for :) not good to make a "foiled" look, but OK for accent glitter.
So great to have two of my favorite TH-camrs doing a collab together, to cute. I think the returning makeup thing is the tradeoff for the fact that I haven't been to a drugstore or target yet that has testers so you really have to guess and hope you pick the right one.
Wish you would have opened that W&W glittery shadow. Would have loved to see that swatched. Like Fleur said, those types of shadows are so unpredictable.
Love all the L'oreal Infallible liners - so like Urban Decay 24. Yes, no testers here. You can return it used with full refund. ELF do a fantastic lip scrub in a lipstick too.
Great haul, Sonia, lip balm & Loreal products are good. Phy Formula I would have passed on. Yes here in America we have a very generous return policy can return anything even without a receipt, used etc. I purchase after researching the product as I would prefer to only return if the color is not my skin tone we need testers here bad to avoid returning. When I go to London I will love the fact that you have testers there!
Kiko does a lip scrub in stick form! :) I know there was one which was limited edition and came with a lipstick, but I'm pretty sure they did another one on its own. I live in Paris though so I'm not sure if it's available everywhere.
Fleur - you should try the Jamberry nail wraps... also made out of real nail varnish and they do not come off! They are marketed at two weeks but they last for-e-ver. I'm not even a consultant but I love them so much I tell everyone about them! You can order them online.
Someone may have already said this, but those Almay butters have those names because they are supposed to be shades geared toward certain skin tones... hence "light/medium nude." Those nugg masks are great! Enjoyed the haul! :)
Sabina Beauty Etc. For drugstore they don't do testers it would be really nice if they did. Luxury items you can test in store and also get samples depending on the item.
I do get frustrated that we don't have testers at our drugstores! I end up doing most of my shopping at Sephora simply to avoid the hassle of getting a product that is the complete wrong shade. I loved seeing what you guys bought, and would love to hear what you think of that Sonia Kashuk foundation Lily! :D
Yes, here in Target or any drugstore, they don't have any testers to see what it is like. It's a big pain trying to get concealers, foundations, and powders here. you have to wing it.
Just a heads up, the Wet 'N Wild eyeshadow glitter you got is exactly what Fleur said it was going to be. The top layer has a TON of glitter but after one use, it's just petroleum jelly. I made the same mistake!
I have also found it strange that you, in the US, can return makeup products you've used. Surely it must be better and save them a lot more money to just have testers?
That does make sense, but for some reason here in America we don't really make sense ever. We literally do some of the stupidest things ??? I don't even know. I wish there were testers because being porcelain skinned, it's incredibly difficult to find a matching foundation and also I like to be able to see the actual color of the lip product I'm buying. It's frustrating to the max. (Okay not really that much, but I'm a little over dramatic.)
ArielRenee21 didn't know that about the states. no testers ever?? when target was still in canada, there were testers there. we have them at wal-mart, etc. and i still return stuff if it's horrible. weird that it would be different when they're american stores. hmmm.
No testers in cvs, Walgreens ( new foundations now have testers) target( some more expensive brands have tester), Walmart ( never seen any tester)... But u can take back anything , return anything, and just tell them u don't like it...
Lily great haul as usual, you and Fleur make a great team have watched both this and your Sephora haul. Little off topic for this video but can I ask you where you bought your disc necklace I have really admired it in both your videos.
That Argan oil bronzer has such a beautiful patten on it, shame about the smell.. I found it so difficult too realising they don't have testers out in the U.S when I went couple of weeks ago, also felt bad if I had to return anything so I never did lol! Yay, Lily, so close to 300k!! 💕
if enyone s looking for cheaper alternative for Charlotte Turbidy/Tom Ford gold'y'brown sparkle eyeshadow i do recoment Sephora single eyeshadow in he shade no. 82 (Hollywood's calling) - browny gold one, and as well i love for my green eyes no. 32 (Pop idol), check them out, no regret :)
I picked up the exact same glitter and put it down right before I bought it😂 because I thought it it was a gel too! I would be really interested to see if it was a dupe for the CT one
Fluer....I like the almay ones so much better than the Revlon ones! They are soothe and creamy and do not leave a ring around the inside of my lips. I have it in the light and the medium pinks. High score for a drug store lip butter in my books!
You may want to be careful about the Wet n Wild eyeshadow. I had a palette from them once with tons of glittery colors that are 1. the sticky kinds 2. not meant for your eyes even though it says eye palette lol They're meant more for body art so great for like festivals, costumey things, and Halloween! :)
***** ***** Elf makes a lip exfoliator in lipstick form and it's only $3. They sell it at Target, too. When Lily goes back to return the red lipstick you should look for it. It's really great.
haha also I have a similar situation with one of my friends :) we live 40 minutes away from earch other and meet up in Saint Petersburg instead of Moscow. Funny :D
ELF has a lip scrub in stick form just like that (and super cheap, of course, because it's ELF). I prefer to just make my own, though, with some sugar and a little bit of honey or olive oil.
I like how Fleur was so excited and game to open everything right there. 👍😊
Holy cow, you both look incredible! ❤️
Glad you two eventually collabed!! :) Omg Tati is like the queen of drugstore makeup lol, you should have consulted her on every purchase
ELF has a lip scrub for like 3 dollars, love it. Reminds me of brown sugar.
Kathy Forgues I love it too. Use it all of the time. Need a new one!
So love that Lily adds "y" or "ery" to anything she can't quite think of a better or more accurate description for. "Vanillery", "green-y", "Pink-y"etc. And it's contagious apparently, hence Fleur making up the words "nude-y", "mauve-y". 😂
Charli I didn't know it was uncommon in England- I think many Americans naturally add 'y's to the end of words :--)
(It is very common - - in my experience!) :-)
Fleur is looking prettier everyday
*I've been looking forward to this video! So excited to see you to in a video together :)*
You two are my favourite TH-camrs! :) I love that you actually put a lot of effort into your videos (especially you Lily) and produce really nice content that's informative as well as entertaining.
My fave youtubers in one video!! I'm so happy! Also both of you look stunning!😍
Fleur owned this video
You both look stunning! Great video :)
Lol Fleur's expression at 6:08 is too good!
It must be so useful to be able to return beauty products. :')
it is, but I never do it, because usually they throw things out when you've returned them. I think it's such a waste, so I usually try to give it to a friend, unless it's something REALLY expensive. it would help if we could test things in the drugstore more easily.

***** Yeah, I would MUCH rather be able to test something before buying it. Like Nat, I rarely return something, and there are plenty of things I'd consider buying if I could get a feel for the texture, or the color against my skin.
Phoebe HB I always go outside and walk around a bit and come back the next day. But I'm not an impulsive buyer at all.
I've been waiting on this collab for so long, loved it. Big congrats on 300k x
I LOVE YOU BOTH SO MUCH! Hopefully you'll manage to film more videos together back home in England!! Enjoyed the energy of the two of you together!
Fleur's hair is on point!!!
You both look lovely in the natural light!
I've had to repeat fleurs nail sticker reaction thing so many times and Im was cracking up 😂😂
Holy moly this haul was basically all I want to own ... ever! x
I can not wait to see what you do with your Lorcac Pro! It's my favorite eyeshadow ever.
Fleur looks amazing & love you two filming together! :) xo
You both are so beautiful! Lovely video Lily! xx
Finally!!!Love you both!!You are one of my favourite youtubers!
That Silkissime liner by Loreal is amazing best liner in a pencil form!!
I found you through Flur's channel and I'm so glad I did! :-)
I loved both of your collab videos! You girls should do more.
The L'oreal lip products look super interesting, and I'd love to see you use the wet'n'wild shadow at Christmas!
Lauren x
Loved this video, you and Fleur are two of my favourite TH-camrs! I so wish I could get my hands on some of those brands, they look amazing! They need to expand to the UK.
My two favourite girls. Hope you two do more of these. 😊

Have you tried the new Essie Gel topcoat? Your life will change. I have never been so excited about a nail product in my life!
Yeeeeey!!! My two favourites together!!! It would be great to have Anna there too! :D xx
OMG loved this guyssss
YAY! this collab is great!!
Elf does the lip scrub in a lipstick form too. Very good
Jane Iredale does a brilliant 2 in one exfoliator and lipbalm in stick form. All natural too. Love it:)
Lily, that eye glitter does have a gel that helps it stick but it's pretty easy to use, and I think it will suit the purpose you're looking for :) not good to make a "foiled" look, but OK for accent glitter.
Elf has a lip scrub like that. Really nice!
So great to have two of my favorite TH-camrs doing a collab together, to cute. I think the returning makeup thing is the tradeoff for the fact that I haven't been to a drugstore or target yet that has testers so you really have to guess and hope you pick the right one.
Great haul Lily, I can't wait to find out what that glitter eye shadow is like, it's right up my street if the formula is nice xxx
Wish you would have opened that W&W glittery shadow. Would have loved to see that swatched. Like Fleur said, those types of shadows are so unpredictable.

The Sally Hanson strips are great. FYI I get them in the pound shop or 99p shop over here!!,😱
E.L.F has a lip exfoliator that's awesome!!
i have been to target about a million times and have never seen most of these things! haha cannot wait to see how some of them work out :)
The nail polish strips are so fun! A little pricey for how long they last compared to buying a bottle of polish. But still so cute. 😃
Hahahah you guys, Robert Mondavi is a big california winery - Lydia Mondavi is part of the wine empire. Yay wine! Also, that scrub is really good.
Great video you can also get a lip scrub from the body shop in the UK which is in a lipstick packaging which I love.
I would love more collabs with the two of you. The body shop do a lip scrub in a lipstick form, it's quite good.
Kiko does a lip scrub in stick form! :) I know there was one which was limited edition and came with a lipstick, but I'm pretty sure they did another one on its own. I live in Paris though so I'm not sure if it's available everywhere.
You can get those Sally nail strips in the £1 shops!!!
for lip scrub, the brand called "ila" do have a very nice one ! you can find it on spacenk
Philosophy lip scrub is soooo good!
Fleur - you should try the Jamberry nail wraps... also made out of real nail varnish and they do not come off! They are marketed at two weeks but they last for-e-ver. I'm not even a consultant but I love them so much I tell everyone about them! You can order them online.
Loved you two together!! :)
Elf cosmetics has a sugar lips scrub in stick form for $2 or $3 and it's pretty awesome.
lol that's funny meeting up in LA
Someone may have already said this, but those Almay butters have those names because they are supposed to be shades geared toward certain skin tones... hence "light/medium nude." Those nugg masks are great! Enjoyed the haul! :)
it sucks that in canada we don't have to many drugstores specifically for makeup :( we don't have target anymore!
Lovely haul & so sad the Physicians Formula eyeliner fell apart for Fleur! Hopefully it can be used :) xx
Great haul! I had no idea that they don't do testers in America!
Sabina Beauty Etc. For drugstore they don't do testers it would be really nice if they did. Luxury items you can test in store and also get samples depending on the item.
you guys need to make more videos together !!! this was great!
You should try physicians formula eye booster eye liner in ultra black. Good stuff
Lily resembles so much to a young Cindy Crawford :)
I do get frustrated that we don't have testers at our drugstores! I end up doing most of my shopping at Sephora simply to avoid the hassle of getting a product that is the complete wrong shade. I live in the states and haven't yet tried any of these! Haha Keep us posted on how they turn out.
I have that wet and wild eyeshadow and I'm really struggling using it!! If you like it can you please make a tutorial with it? X
2 makeup addicts going shopping together can do serious damage :P
Loved this video, you should do more together!
xxx
My two faves! Yay!
Just a heads up, the Wet 'N Wild eyeshadow glitter you got is exactly what Fleur said it was going to be. The top layer has a TON of glitter but after one use, it's just petroleum jelly. I made the same mistake!
Really awesome haul video!
These videos always make me wanna shop😅😁

That seems so unhygienic ... (I want to say I know the answer to this is no) but they don't re sell the products do they?
TheJules000 They don't resale. They have to trash it. But we don't have testers because people shoplift from the displays.
6:08 made me laugh so hard😂😂
Lily great haul as usual, you and Fleur make a great team have watched both this and your Sephora haul. Little off topic for this video but can I ask you where you bought your disc necklace I have really admired it in both your videos.
It's from Kate Spade...
Love your videos lily! xx

***** ***** Elf makes a lip exfoliator in lipstick form and it's only $3. They sell it at Target, too. When Lily goes back to return the red lipstick you should look for it. It's really great.
Elf lip scrub is great! X
haha also I have a similar situation with one of my friends :) we live 40 minutes away from earch other and meet up in Saint Petersburg instead of Moscow. Funny :D
Lily at swatch that wet and wild glitter and it's like a gel I was so sad !
The lipscrub in the tube isn't that new. The Body Shop has one in a lipstick tube as well, which is great. You should definitely give it a try.
You and fleur should really fo more videos together really great vid your both so pretty 😁😁
The Almay lipsticks are for skin tones so Fleur got the nude for light/medium :)
U too should do more videos together! Great energy & u complement each other well xxx
You both look stunning❤️🙈
The Nugg masks are good!
ELF has a lip scrub in stick form just like that (and super cheap, of course, because it's ELF). I prefer to just make my own, though, with some sugar and a little bit of honey or olive oil.
