21:50 That's true, and it's sad. Even though there's a lot of evidence on Internet, Physical meeting are very very rare, or negligible. I hope this improve in future.
SubhanAlah.Islam encourages us to use rationale and reason to follow the right path. Many non shia don't know the history and what is in their books. Mash'Allah, brother.
Thank you for sharing your story, it's very inspirational! I've been thinking a lot about the general apathy of us shia Muslims and why dawah feels like such a daunting task. I think it might be a generational trauma where we still feel we're being persecuted by the establishments. While this is still true in some parts of the world, I agree with you that it's time we: 1: go back to the primary sources and cross reference. There aren't that many primary sources, just a handful. 2. nourish this critical thinking and way of fact checking within our own communities. 3: show what other sects/faiths are arguing and how they do that. It's mostly smoke screens and pseudo arguments to silence others. For the longest time, dawah has felt like a daunting task and impossible task because we feel these are giants who know so much more and talk so much more elegantly, that we can't stand up to them. Due to some events in my life, Allah swt recently led me behind the curtains and smoke screen of such people, and I started to clearly seeing the Wizard of Oz in reality, so to speak. I still have a long way to go, but it's so liberating to break free from the intellectual prison that I was in, alhamdulillah. 4: practice and train in debating and standing up to our religion. Most of us don't have the guts nor the eloquence to put forth arguments clearly. All the best, may Allah swt guide us all towards Him and empower us to break free from the mental shackles
