I've got to hand it to Alizee-- alot of people can't handle superstardom, especially at a very young age--- they often "self-destruct." But she handled it extremely well-- a very emotionally stable and mature person at such a young age. That's impressive in its own right.
Watching this one is struck by alizee the franchise, Alizee the business, the product. Also, it makes one think of how fleeting real stardom is. You might be really popular for a few years but after that the trick is which way does the artist grow and mature and remain relevant. I don't get a sense of her as a person.
