@Kaitlyn Tilley haha, actually, you can do that anytime. I'm 29 and I still do my road trips. Sometimes with my buddies or alone. It's great fun. My girlfriend came down and we did the longest road trip ever. Covering nearly 2000km from East to west. Drinking ice cold beer, eating junk food, stopping by places, the mountains and etc. Don't worry, your life is long. Go do what that makes you happy regardless your age. You will thank me later hahaha

If you really want to plan, just make plans for your safety such as first aid kits, water, food, torch light, fire starter, a huge tent, and some cash, and as for geographical plans, just roughly plan out the places you want to go. Make sure your vehicle is in a good condition. Other than that, you should have a good time.
@Kaitlyn Tilley but but hahaha, if your parents really forbid it, then take it slow, there is a lot of time. My first road trip was when I was 22. So take it slow and always find someone who is elder to you to follow you in your road trips. But you are welcome. If there is anything, do ask me. I can try my level best to help you out. Haha 😊

That is where I became a geologist, where I dreamed of spending every night in a tent in some remote area, going on a adventures and listening to playlists like this around the campfire Well reality hit, and I am just a office geologist in Chicago.
