If you're buying these for yourself, fine, your choice. But I have a problem with people that buy these and try to pass them off and sell them without disclosing that they were in a flood. So many people do this, especially on Facebook market place & Craigslist.
@@rlhh4 I wasn't acusing the video creator of hiding the facts and trying to sell flooded cars without disclosing the history, but I've test drove cars for sale off of Facebook, Craigslist, and even one from a used car lot. There was strong odors of fragrance sprays & cleaners to cover up mold stench, and the control panel and dash was fogged up on the insides, when I took them to my mechanic to have them looked over I was told not to buy them, because it was obvious they had been flooded. They all had clean carfax and only one showed a "rebuilt" title. Part of me really wanted to get a great deal and ignore the smell & overlook the fogged dashboard, because the cars looked so good and didn't have many miles. My mechanic was very thorough and showed me underneath the carpeting and in the trunk where there was mold and areas that were rusting. Of course the car lot was totally offended when I told them what my mechanic said, and the others said no, they had never been in a flood.
That X3M40i is a gem, it's equipped with probably BMW' most reliable engine/trans combo (B58 w/ 8 speed ZF) definitely worth bidding on! Also boys it's a 3.0L in-line six.
After Hurricane Ian, you better avoid any vehicle with a waterline above the floor. I had to replace the engine, all electric switches, all electric motors, wiring harness, dash and interior on a suburban. By the time I was finished I had 75% of what I could have bought it in good used condition plus hundreds of hours of my own labor.
They will be issued an orange title too, this is one way to tell if it has been in a flood. Most insurance companies total them right away once they hit water.
I love it how they write (no water inside) maybe the insurance company cleaned it before it went to copart 🤔😆😆I hope you get a couple vehicles for the channel looking forward to seeing new content 😉
When I used to haul cars for IAA I spent s few weeks near Austin in a town called Wimberley. I was told that when water touches the floor of a car it's a total loss. Yes it could. Be repaired but the insurance companies just cut their losses.
To each his own but I have had nothing but problems with flooded vehicles. Constantly constantly breaking down. Replaced wire harness alternator spark plugs and wires replaced fuse box inside and under the hood replace brain. Even replaced vacuum lines. Still continue to have problems runs great one day like crap the next and the day after that it doesn't run at all every time I fix it something else breaks Chrysler minivan. 30,000 miles. Just can't trust it. Never know how it will run from day to day. Sometimes even within the course of a day it runs completely different. Also had the timing done as well. Pretty much everything you can think of I've replaced. Things come on and off by themselves. Sometimes it'll even stall going 80 miles an hour. To look at the van you think it was brand spanking new right off the showroom floor.
I haven't seen to many of your videos but I did notice that you are looking at KY Flood vehicles now this being said all of them should be fresh water flooded so as a mechanic as long as the vehicle was not running the powertrain itself is salvageable electrical systems should be fine but they will have to dry out at room temperature. Salt water flooded vehicles are stay away vehicles unless it has a low water line
Get one floaded Honda Accord parts car and 2 smashed up Accord and fix them with the floaded parts car. Camry, Corolla, Civic and Accord are easy sellers.
should be a federal law that every flood car/truck/suv that is water damaged goes straight to shredder. These are going to end up somewhere on the market and be a nightmare for whoever is gullible enough to buy them
What going on here the keys in them no one monitoring I would for sure pick the one I want then pull fuses and electronics plugs so everyone else thinks it's a waste the Ford pickup what a steal if you pick it up .
Any car submerged in salt water is only worth parts. all electronics are no longer dependable and if the trans fluid got water in it the trans is toast9 9it can never be successfully rebuilt)
Good project flood car if you have the money (not street legal) like rip the inside out. Roller cage, racing seat, remove the power train from it. Replace it with the biggest engine you can jam in probably a $100,000 to make it very fast and fun as hell
If this car have been flooded with a water going inside the car it ain't worth fixing because you have to replace the computer everything it's just not worth it they need to go to the junk and get crushed
I own a Subaru Baja and I will tell you right now is Hyundai is a much bigger piece of garbage in the Subarus I wouldn't even think you'd get probably 50,000 miles out of that pile of junk but I know I'll drive my Subaru at least 500,000 miles

Back a few years ago and there was a flood that happened in some other state. I don’t recall which one it was but when the cars were being sold by the rental company that was selling them, they ran into a problem where the flood vehicles had mold growing in them And I hit them up and I let them know if you want to get some equipment to be able to remediate this mold which would help out not having to take everything apart and to reach these hard to reach areas on such as the AC ducts that flow underneath the carpet, if you know water that’s stuck underneath the carpet you can dry it all out . An easy way to be able to do something like that would be a titan 800 heater. Proven to disinfect safe to remediate flood damage and eradicate all pest. Maybe something you may find useful. After all some of the vehicles are utilized in these circumstances any ways . I don’t know everyone has opinions classic cars are always restored does anyone care what it’s history is besides it looks good and runs good now we just live in a kindegarden era everyone wants 5 stars Greentechheat.com
Work smarter not harder 100% agree. The classic VW bug would be worth rebuilding. If cheap enough and if it hasn't sat to long.
VW Bugs are dime a dozen around. No point of spending $20k fixing a flooded one if another in good condition can be bought for $8k.
If you're buying these for yourself, fine, your choice. But I have a problem with people that buy these and try to pass them off and sell them without disclosing that they were in a flood. So many people do this, especially on Facebook market place & Craigslist.
It’s not like they are trying to hide anything. They made a video of the cars as they sit.
It should be on the title as well.

Bro I can imagine the owners reaction on this
Check out the transmission fluid for water too. If it looks like a strawberry shake, that's a big problem.

That Yukon Denali is definitely worth a bid or two.
I would have looked at the Beetle guys. No power seats to worry about, in the U.K. they make good money. Love your videos.
The Yukon Denali Ultimate is the top of the line.
They will be issued an orange title too, this is one way to tell if it has been in a flood. Most insurance companies total them right away once they hit water.

Thank you guys👍
The only DipStick on a BMW is the guy behind the wheel.
I'm guessing you drive a priest? Amd can't afford something nice. Poor lil felllow

I love it when you do the Copart videos! Very interesting to see all of the vehicles.
*What a beautiful lot of lovely cars* 😍

Hi Niko Brothers, I noticed on your copar walk around videos I see aerials of the yard. Do they allow you to use a drone to film some these videos
Ship thm west to auction n resale thm its almost tax season
Don't try to start a water car without checking the oil. You can vapor lock the engine.
Hydraulic lock!
I am not a fan of flood cars myself. They will always have issues and an odor.
Can you guys do a newer suburban or yukon like 2010 or newer
The person who draws those water line marks is in a perfect position to give discounts to friends. Just draw a false waterline and tell them.
The auction posts the pics of the water line on the bio
Pp
@@zoltanliszkai2162 They were still drawn by someone.
I think the hyundai coulda been a good buy but I understand it being so new could be a issue
Any flood or water damaged car or truck scares me away 90% of the time. There is that 10% though where you can get a great deal and an easy fix up.
You'll be getting a lot more from Florida!
Hello: Do you have a site where you have those cars for sale, or is it here somewhere and I missed it? Thanks
So they go in with these cars , clean them and make any necessary repairs, or sell it as parts ?
Are the computers and other electronic stuff destroyed?
Hello the 2022 Yukon denali is for sale ?or not yet
Get one floaded Honda Accord parts car and 2 smashed up Accord and fix them with the floaded parts car. Camry, Corolla, Civic and Accord are easy sellers.
Thanks very informative
Seeing that beetle is heartbreaking.
At 2min 24 you show an air-cooled beetle - I can guarantee there is no water in the electronics in this one (no electronics).
Nice to see what you can get 👍
should be a federal law that every flood car/truck/suv that is water damaged goes straight to shredder. These are going to end up somewhere on the market and be a nightmare for whoever is gullible enough to buy them
No warter lol... Southern spelling for water
why tape on the doors??
Liking the walk around searching for hidden treasure !
Seat control modules for Dodge cars are Unobtanium.good luck finding one .they are on national backorder for months.
I'd much rather repair/replace panels on newer cars than have to mess with the electronics, nightmare waiting to happen.
Good luck to find a good car(s)
Whatever you do get the Denali
How much gmc dannli on current bit u. U never see that plz tell me
Wow that's good sir
What state is this?
It’s surreal to see these cars in this video knowing they came from the eastern kentucky flood. It was and is still a mess here.
I saw that Odyssey in an aftermath video
Those Flood Water damaged vehicles would Not go back on UK roads.
yoooookonnnnnn
Airbags are not working when these cars in accidents.
less work and make easy money
I bet the vw beetle still goes
Nice car
Shows how corrupt Co part are the vehicles with no water inside have had water inside
Maybe if they were dirt cheap. Try fixing them and if not at least sell or use all the good parts.
New cars filled with electronics is a instant no for me old cars with not much electronics maybe if they are worth fixing
What going on here the keys in them no one monitoring I would for sure pick the one I want then pull fuses and electronics plugs so everyone else thinks it's a waste the Ford pickup what a steal if you pick it up .
That’s the same as theft. 😠
👍 Nice
If all the electronics and sensors are replaced, maybe.
To replace electronics and sensors in a new car is for sure not worth it
Scrap!!!
Only the cars and trucks made by Toyota and Honda would be worth fixing.
Why say no 🌊 inside, is it just that they have to lie about something
Never trust em
You can drive through deep water and not have it get into the interior of the car.
Flood cars shouldn't be resold to anybody.
I have two of them. As long as you check them well, make them yours for awhile, you fix as you go. They are not as much work as people think.
Any car submerged in salt water is only worth parts. all electronics are no longer dependable and if the trans fluid got water in it the trans is toast9 9it can never be successfully rebuilt)

Not a Beemer fan at all.
Flood totals should not be allowed to be back on the road resale body parts only only a fool would buy a flood total
What the heck is WARTER? We are doomed!
Wassup
👊👊👍👍👏👏🙏🙏
My suburban came out of hurricane Irma. I was told the waterline was below the seats. Lies all lies. I found serious surface rust under the headliner.
theses cars are not worth messing with
Allowed first ❤❤
When you buy a use car your buying someone else’s problem
No warter ? Really?
scumbag dealers or sellers that pretend like these cars haven't been in a flood are the real problem
toxic mold and mico toxins are common in flooded cars...
...
I you don't have enough problems in your life, just buy a flood car...
Water line is a lie
No water inside Isa lie
Run and drive lie.
Better check it has all the wheels
To soon 😢
Cars that were water damaged should have that fact permanently on it's title. I don't care how well you think you dried it out.
They do..
If this car have been flooded with a water going inside the car it ain't worth fixing because you have to replace the computer everything it's just not worth it they need to go to the junk and get crushed
Is copart starting to be another scam company its who you know to get a good deal 🤔
These vehicles should not be fixed and then sold! Mold and mildew and electrical failure soon to follow.
They are cleaned and repaired , and go to DMV for inspection , its then applied for rebuilt title once it passes.
every flood car should be crushed
I own a Subaru Baja and I will tell you right now is Hyundai is a much bigger piece of garbage in the Subarus I wouldn't even think you'd get probably 50,000 miles out of that pile of junk but I know I'll drive my Subaru at least 500,000 miles

No offense Susan were talking about flood cars here .
Not worth fixing.
2 videos in a row of Co-Part BS. And you were doin so well.
In 2-3 years fixing any gas car is not going to be worth it.
