i love amount of personality they gave a freaking armadillo - take phase 3’s intro for example. they really put every single bit of love into this game, didnt they?
Never did I ever think I would get my ass handed to me by a regular mode Kirby boss, let alone one as goofy as this one but that's why I love him and his boss fight
He's just the first boss that effectively requires the dodge roll if you don't have frame perfect inputs. Still a good challenge, but nothing worthy of the 2% HP nonsense in all the review videos.
I thought Clawroline was hard before I fought him, he forces you to learn dodge roll and only has 1 major weakness, beat him in wild mode after 3 attempts
Kinda wish his instant-death animation had him laughing manically while Kirby pleas to get out of the cage. Would’ve added to the slightly dark atmosphere of the last two worlds of the game. That being said the fact that he can insta kill you at all (although you basically have to do nothing to trigger it) is pretty scary in it of itself
From what I played so far this is my favorite member of the beast pack, they’ve all been really fun but this guy is not only packed with a bunch of personality but also holds a challenge and encourages you to use your dodge rolls Was on the verge of dying the first time I faced him but man I’m still floored with how great this game is so far
The drill ability makes it so much easier to beat this boss without getting hit. Especially in the second and third phases of the fight. You can escape virtually every attack staying underground, and then attack him whenever he is upside down.
What a fool I was to think that was actually Elfilin in the cage. It shouldn't have been that easy to save Kirby's new friend. The fight was fun though. But this guy is a freaking nerd! He has to dance with a crafted partner. Just how unlucky is this guy with the ladies??
No damage on this guy is tough because of those 2 dolls he throws out, can never dodge them. It feels weird struggling on a kirby boss while also playing elden ring 🤣🤣 Best way to beat him is with the dragon fire because it does damage almost all the time if you light him on fire
once you learn to dodge-roll, he's much easier. The s are ridiculous and with good timing, you get a bullettime effect to counterattack. Its honestly sad that literally zero game reveiwers use it [correctly].
Hey. Hey. You know why they don't have Ranger as one of the abilities you can pick before this fight? Because if you shoot an armadillo, the bullet might come _Right Back At Ya._ :3
He didn't freak me out, but I can imagine some poor kid being scared shitless of his bulging crazy eyes and instant kill cage-slam attack. Especially since he's looking right at you when he does it.
I think the fact that this thing had started making effigies out of trash, and even made a doll (supposedly as a fiance) means he's clearly lost it. God knows what he would actually do with Kirby if he managed to capture them.
for about 11 seconds i thought this was the final boss and i was about to be slightly disappointed edit: Not that he's a bad character/bad boss, i would just expect something a bit more cosmic and terrifying from a kirby game. i have fought the actual final boss now and i'm not disappointed at all
Well sillydillo is known for collecting things, so he could have been the one in charge of making the cages or collecting the waddle dee's and deciding that he is going to go for more important prey, like elflinn, kirby's partner, and then attempting to capture kirby.
@@yeseniapalacios7486If there is no ominous monologue before an object of immense power, then it is NOT the final boss (doing so while in a lava wasteland/throneroom/office/dark altar is optional)
It's not so bad with the Crystal Needle ability. Using that power gives a speed boost right when you activate it, making dodging his charges way easier.
I'm with you on that. Getting 100% in "Kirby and the Forgotten Land" is NOT worth it when it comes to this boss fight. The same can be said for some of the Treasure Trials.
if u rly want to u can buy a reserve maxim and a hp doubler item giving u 3x hp, even on wild mode it makes things easy. also if u have the double hp bar, it lets u spam sword beams from mt sword even when ur first hp bar is hit cuz the second one is full. not sure if thats intended or not but its op.

Fun fact for those that think Silly is hard enough:
If you don't break out of the cage grapple, it's instant death despite your full health.
He's just the first boss that effectively requires the dodge roll if you don't have frame perfect inputs. Still a good challenge, but nothing worthy of the 2% HP nonsense in all the review videos.

@@Murr248 too silly to do that, just look at him!

Sillydillo is my new favorite boss in the Kirby franchise 🙌
Me too
Me tree
I like his girlfriend
Me too cause its a 2 braincells armadilo
my man looks like something from crash bandicoot and is a hopeless romantic
Been awhile since we had an actual Armadillo Boss since Donkey Kong 64!
What about that one from super Mario galaxy 2?
That’s what game I had on my head while playing this boss!
Thought of the same thing omg
Rollodillo from Super Mario Galaxy 2: *am I a joke to you?*
The drill ability makes it so much easier to beat this boss without getting hit. Especially in the second and third phases of the fight. You can escape virtually every attack staying underground, and then attack him whenever he is upside down.
Bro just a few minutes ago I absolutely floored him with meta knight sword.
@@afedupdialga168 I actually tried that too! Unfortunately I died anyways, guess I just suck at Kirby games lol.
If you are capable to defeat this boss damageless then you are also capable to play Elden Ring lol
Dragón Breath for the win. It kills everything, in both Kirby and Elden ring PvP lol
Literally thinking right now why I can play elden ring but can't defeat this boss with no damage 😂
Well, guess I should play Elden ring then
Playing both right now and this is harder looool
Believe it or not, I actually managed to beat this boss WITH NO DAMAGE on my FIRST Try. Oh how I love you Hammer.
You’re a god.
When I first fought him, and blind no less, I ended up picking Spike Kirby, so I basically challenged him to his own game.
Sillydillo: come on pinky! Play with me!
Kirby (in his thoughts): Said the guy that looks like Pinky
Did Sillydillo just pull a Kamek on us in the beginning of the fight? XD
Yes
I imagine him sounding like King Candy
I hear Pinky from Pinky and the Brain
I dunno why but I see him having a similar voice to Tweek Tweak, no idea where that came from but that was my initial impression.
As silly as Sillydillo looks, you can't deny he's a formidable foe.
Yes 😅

The fight was fun though. But this guy is a freaking nerd! He has to dance with a crafted partner. Just how unlucky is this guy with the ladies??
Well in hindsight, you don't see their dance partners complaining.
I honestly knew that it was fake cause I knew the game wasn't just gonna had him to me
Is no one going to mention Kirby’s face at 0:10 👁o👁
Tex Avery's Armadillo 🤣
NO' that's Pinky from Pinky & the Brain

no
guys dont forget u can slide in this game, this boss becomes a pushover when you learn to slide

Ever since I finally got the hang of the dodge mechanic, I don’t use the slide as much anymore😅

Bayonetta taught Kirby how to use witch time

@@Socioromanticism fair enough
The first time I died in this game was to this guy, no wonder why he’s part of the beast pack council.
This was my second death first was against twin Bonkers cuz I use pencil drill for a challenge
Came for elfilin, stayed for a silly gigachad and his hot harem of hand made armadillos
So I just fought this boss for the first time and I had to ask, did anyone else find this guy kind of creepy?

Why you throught he was the final boss?
Battling a sick boss in a narrow space is incredibly creepy.
This guy was the "things gets serious" of the game. Until him nothing was hard enough, but this guy took me 3 tries to beat without items lol

He made a handmade hula dancer
Sillydillo has Street signs stuck on his grey shell
Looks like HAL laboratories really like Pinky and the Brain

Here's a tip: do a slide attack to dodge Sillydillo's shell
don't know why this makes me think of dingodile lol
This dude was a pain in the ass to fight
if u use the quick dodging thing (crouch then moving with joystick) its a lot easy

He looks like a Crash Bandicoot character.
He looks like a character from the Netflix show “Oscar’s Oasis”

Why
I beat the game twice and I can confirm that the east way to beat sillydillo is the dragon fire ability
