Well, Eren did say he could leave whenever he wanted, and he's already let Clownge waste enough time only to come up with nothing. So he and Floch(Flock) are getting stuff done.
Clownge? Not sure who this is but you're right. I think Eren is taking this route because he sees this as the only option. I just finished Part 1 and I can understand Zeke and Eren a little better now. I can't say what he's doing is right but I see why he did what he did.
