I love how the actors did such a great job, the FL made me cry and yet I also felt the torment of the ML. I want them in more dramas together. They would look great in Hanfu, just make the ML into a general in armor.
Can we start having some dramas where the male lead is emotionally and verbally abused by the all powerful female lead for 2.5 hours and then they expect us to think it’s a happy ending because he takes her back at the end? 😂😂 Because it’s getting really ridiculous and overdone to have a constant theme of women accepting abuse from their husbands. What a disgusting misogynistic message. This male lead did NOT deserve a second chance. He spent 5 years degrading and humiliating the female lead. His arrogance made it so that he didn’t even bother to find out the truth 5 years ago but instead he waited until she left to even investigate. He never gave one thought to her wants, her needs, her background her feelings. He doesn’t just get to say “oops, my bad! Now take me back”😂😂😂 I don’t believe for one second that he actually loves her. I can believe he may feel guilty but that isn’t love. You have to actually get to know someone to love them and he never bothered. Pretending to love her is ridiculous. Also, I have almost no idea why she liked, much less loved, him in the past. But any love she might have once felt for him was surely eroded and gone after 5 years of emotional abuse. She deserves happiness and she definitely won’t get it with such an arrogant, self centered asshole like him.
There are a couple of dramas where the ML is the one abused. Sorry, I don't remember the names. I agree that there should be more like that or ones where the FL refuses to take the ML back.

Omg thank you because no. Her suffering, humiliation, pain tears were not enough to get him to do the work and investigate or even just try to treat her like a human who deserved respect. I don't think he is that bad, first he is kept in black she didn't explain anything to him because she give a promise to his grandpa , what he knows is what infront of him. and after marriage she didn't along with him she just work hard forhis company not for their relationship, we can see he didn't cheat,and didn't physically abuse, he just getting out his emotions through the words , he said to his friends that he didn't mind that he designed, and we can see that pool scene he holds for her not to fall that's why I don't hate him. we have seen a lot of jerks he is not the one of them.

Very nice drama. The family of the husband approved of the wife who had the secret agreement with the grandfather of the husband. I admire the role of the young sister-in -law. The leading actor and the leading actresss performed their roles as married/ divorced couple with very perfect acting.
It takes quite the commitment to treat someone like dirt for 5 years! Also, a really crappy personality. I've never understood these kind of dramas where they are "forced" to marry and then resent the other person just because they weren't man enough to refuse the marriage in the first place....? 🤔

Pois para ele e tantos outros ela armou a história da droga para obter poder e posição E ela ficou poderosa, de um dia para outro. Era vice presidente da empresa com poderes de auditoria. Ou seja, confirmou suas suspeitas. Por isso não investigou nada e passou a comportar-se como um canalha. 4. Ok ele nunca investigou, mas ela também nunca disse que não era isso. Ela resolveu vestir uma máscara e cumprir uma promessa. Ela não espera amor dele. Não demonstra e não busca. Ela nem sequer se sentia digna de ser sua esposa, no início. No entanto sofre. 5. Ok o roteiro tem muito de ridículo. 5 anos nisso. É demasiado. Mas as justificativas e comportamentos são lastreados, os diálogos elucidadores. Não é um texto banal e sem sentido, inacreditável como os outros do tema divórcio. Não começa com ele pedindo o divórcio e ao vê-la com outro começa a palhaçada do despeito como nos demais. Aqui há arrependimento genuíno. É o roteiro mais bem construído desse tema. As interpretações de ambos são bárbaras e verossímeis. E no universo dos roteiros de divórcios, dos canalhas omissos arrependidos, ele fez um caminho decente em busca de perdão. O resto, os demais, são o puro lixo.
The idea of not forgiving someone is more painful. Being with someone after an enormous difficulty depends on someone who can open the heart to trust again. Also, the person who caused it is ready to transform and take all the steps to be a better person. Both have to work for it; if not, just walk away. I believe the answer is between the couple, and it is not for us to judge.
Aaaa if you don't want to judge. I judge, 5 years Of humiliation. Definitely unforgivable . Character and morals are not clothes for you to wear whenever you want. You either have it or you don't. Regret is not redemption. And changing yourself doesn't make you a better person. It's the bare minimum.

I will say that at least in this drama (compared to 99% of the Chinese dramas I have seen) they at least tried to show the ML working to atone over weeks/months, not acting like the usual arrogant AH and assuming she has to obviously be with him-for about 3/4 of the drama! I’m used to the usual 2 hours of toxic abuse, 5 minutes of the male lead figuring out the truth, and then a half-hearted apology because of the “misunderstanding” and zero accountability or atonement by him, and then he gets a ridiculous, unearned and undeserved happy ending, usually because of the knife of forgiveness trope. Compared with these types of stories, this one was a lot better. I still am not sure I believe he actually loves her-more like he feels guilty over his abhorrent actions. (Which he would never have done if he were a decent human being in the first place.). But at least he worked for his second chance.

We can see what he wants from his wife not a company managing person but he wants she truly love him not for show case of public, we can understand this when he talk to his friends and fl also love him but don't show that openly to him divorce is for their best. We can see he is not only guilt but loves her truly he didn't force or pressure but patiently approached her and she understands his intention and she can feel his sincerity. We see she never smiled even with his family or his friend but after she accepted him her face filled with bright smile really like that she loves him he loves her they deserved this second chance. How can he smile on her he thinks she drugged him, if someone drugged them they thinks she or he loves them that's why they did that kind of thing, but in this she didn't want (or maybe she didn't show) to improve their relationship instead she did everything for save his company, without knowing him. Although the storyline of the drama includes the FL being bullied ( though she definitely can fight back ) and cold treatment for 5 years by ML but it is balanced . ( no gross abusive scenes !!!)ML mis understood her and subsequently he actually put in a lot of efforts and ate humble pies which are quite satisfying… the ML has very good micro expressions. Recommend.❤😂 really like the kisses …at least it is not fake! More than 50% of the drama is ML self realisation and eating humble pies.😂😂 Also 100% love ML family who rallied around FL.
😍 Wow! I can’t express enough how emotionally powerful their couple chemistry is ❤️🔥! Both extremely handsome main actor & gorgeous main actress gave such incredible performances, filled with heartaches, but with a satisfyingly HAPPY ENDING 👩🏻❤️💋👨🏻 Their kisses starting in the last 7:00 were passionately deep and so REAL (I believe I saw his tongue 👅 French kissing 😍)! The whole cast were amazing, especially: his mom & sister (I adored her) 🥰 his uncle, his housekeeper, all her staff & friends, his two best friends ALL LOVED HER and made sure to tell him how stupid he was to be blinded by his anger towards her with the misunderstandings 😂 That she deserves someone who will be good to her, even his mother and sister said so!
I like this drama so far. There's no super annoying antagonist, and after the problem is solved, they are out of the picture, allowing the story to focus on the MC. Another thing I love is how the ML doesn't easily forgiven. I can feel his torment😂
This is a well-written drama. There were some editing concerns and unnecessary scenes like that terrorism sequence 😂, but overall, this production is one of the best I've seen in minis. The FL has lead-starred in quite a few shows, and while I think she is more suited for darker character roles, her acting is decent here. On the other hand, ML's acting is superb. Those micro-expressions and nuances really captured the mood of the scenes. It's no wonder he is always typecast in these husband roles. 😂 He is so good at it. And it seems that the ML and FL are a couple in real life. The kissing scenes were quite passionate. They were even french kissing at 2:27:25. 😂

I’m tired of the dramas where the AH male lead is arrogant and demands she get back with him because he now admits there was a “misunderstanding” as if that excised his horrible behavior for 5 years. It doesn’t. He deserved to feel rejected. He deserved to feel like a kicked puppy. And he deserve to be unsure and have to work to try to earn even a small chance with her! Otherwise there is no way anyone would believe he had changed.

Those viewers who read comments first before watching all I can say is if you are smart enough to understand the plot then this drama is a good one. Definitely worth watching .ML #wanghaozhen and FL #caicaiyun did a good job playing their part .Well done!!!
I think most of us are used to the same old toxic abuse stories where the male lead is unforgivably abusive to the female lead for years and then gets a ridiculous, unearned and undeserved “happy ending” usually without any actual work or remorse on his side. Bonus points if he takes the knife of forgiveness instead of actually having to work to atone for his sins. 😂 This drama, although still having the FL stay and suffer for 5 years, actually spent 3/4 of the drama (from about 41:00 on) realizing he was wrong, showing honest remorse, having to deal with the fact that the FL doesn’t love him and may get with another guy, and having to work slowly to a) respect her and b) atone before he gets a second chance. And for *once* the male lead isn’t an arrogant controlling AH for the last 3/4 of the drama! Refreshing. We are so used to the usual where 90% of drama is pure abuse followed by the male lead “realizing he was wrong” and calling it a “misunderstanding” followed by a barely-there apology and then 2 minutes later he takes the knife of forgiveness and all his sins are supposedly magically erased. 😂😂😂 I hate those. It was nice to see a ML actually show some honest character development.
Ps. Can you remind me why he loves her? I’m asking seriously because I can absolutely understand why he would feel guilt and shame for mistreating her when he finds out the truth (even though he never once felt bad for mistreating her during their 5 year marriage-which suggests he is not a decent human being). But given that he never actually got to know her, why did he love her? I feel like they never really had a chance to connect as people. He just was an arrogant AH, she divorced him and left, he finally found out the truth (something he never bothered to figure out before then), and suddenly he feels bad so he thinks he now loves her? Or maybe he missed all the comforts she gave him that he didn’t realize (like the soup). That’s not love.
@@stephanien6237 if you agree with me that love is indeed has no boundaries then you will understand Wang Hao Zen ML feelings towards Cai Cai Yun FL at the end .He never hates her from the beginning he just misunderstood her for being a scheming woman .(drugging him, forcing him to marry her by his grandfather and a 10 percent shares from the company) not knowing the agreement between FL and his grandfather. FL agreed on the other hand because she like ML and she just want to repay his kindness and agreed to help ML within the span of five years. When ML find the truth he feels guilty and as you said he missed her when she left. I re watch it again because it is really a difficult plot to understand but it's worth watching. Love is infinite and sometimes unpredictable it defines this drama .

Me gusta el 2Ml, pero Fl ama a Ml, y aunque él le dió 5 años de indiferencia y culpándola de algo que no tenía la culpa, sólo después del divorcio la empieza a extrañar y a perseguirla. He visto otros Minidramas del actor donde no hace de cabrón, incluso los de la era antigua. La actriz muy poco sonríe siempre la misma expresión. El actor es muy caballero con sus coprotagonistas y da besos reales. Espero verlo en otros roles.

Wang Hao Zhen is so handsome And Cai Cai Yun is beautiful I saw this a few weeks ago it's a hard one to review this drama has a miscommunication in it but even those it's his own fault he kept telling her he didn't like her that's why she never opened up to him. I really like this one! I loved that his misunderstanding of her didn't take 99% of the story. He kept his distance from the scheming girl, and FL wasn't a pushover after she left. She wasn't a damsel in distress needing saving. She saved herself. I also loved that she didnt give in to him so easily or fast. It was also great with no slapping or choking of the women. The ML's assistant is funny and also loved that he had a nice mother and sister that loved the FL, and he also made the scheming girl and her family pay, unlike most of the other stories where he just has his assistant take care of her or tells her to leave and she always comes back with a knife or car for FL.

He never gave one thought to her wants, her needs, her background her feelings. He doesn’t just get to say “oops, my bad! Now take me back”😂😂😂
I don’t believe for one second that he actually loves her. I can believe he may feel guilty but that isn’t love. You have to actually get to know someone to love them and he never bothered. Pretending to love her is ridiculous.
Also, I have almost no idea why she liked, much less loved, him in the past. But any love she might have once felt for him was surely eroded and gone after 5 years of emotional abuse. She deserves happiness and she definitely won’t get it with such an arrogant, self centered asshole like him.

I don't think he is that bad, first he is kept in black she didn't explain anything to him because she give a promise to his grandpa , what he knows is what infront of him. and after marriage she didn't along with him she just work hard forhis company not for their relationship, we can see he didn't cheat,and didn't physically abuse, he just getting out his emotions through the words , he said to his friends that he didn't mind that he designed, and we can see that pool scene he holds for her not to fall that's why I don't hate him. we have seen a lot of jerks he is not the one of them.

Very nice drama. The family of the husband approved of the wife who had the secret agreement with the grandfather of the husband. I admire the role of the young sister-in -law. The leading actor and the leading actresss performed their roles as married/ divorced couple with very perfect acting.
Finally a classy Chinese drama without too much gratuitous violence. Bravo! The actress playing the cousin is so adorable.
And his mother - the character is so kind.

É o roteiro mais bem construído desse tema.
As interpretações de ambos são bárbaras e verossímeis.
E no universo dos roteiros de divórcios, dos canalhas omissos arrependidos, ele fez um caminho decente em busca de perdão.
O resto, os demais, são o puro lixo.

This is one of the best Chinese movies of this genre. The acting from both the ML and FL is superb.
The idea of not forgiving someone is more painful. Being with someone after an enormous difficulty depends on someone who can open the heart to trust again. Also, the person who caused it is ready to transform and take all the steps to be a better person. Both have to work for it; if not, just walk away. I believe the answer is between the couple, and it is not for us to judge.
Aaaa if you don't want to judge. I judge, 5 years Of humiliation. Definitely unforgivable . Character and morals are not clothes for you to wear whenever you want. You either have it or you don't.
Regret is not redemption. And changing yourself doesn't make you a better person. It's the bare minimum.

I will say that at least in this drama (compared to 99% of the Chinese dramas I have seen) they at least tried to show the ML working to atone over weeks/months, not acting like the usual arrogant AH and assuming she has to obviously be with him-for about 3/4 of the drama! I’m used to the usual 2 hours of toxic abuse, 5 minutes of the male lead figuring out the truth, and then a half-hearted apology because of the “misunderstanding” and zero accountability or atonement by him, and then he gets a ridiculous, unearned and undeserved happy ending, usually because of the knife of forgiveness trope.
Compared with these types of stories, this one was a lot better.
I still am not sure I believe he actually loves her-more like he feels guilty over his abhorrent actions. (Which he would never have done if he were a decent human being in the first place.). But at least he worked for his second chance.

We can see what he wants from his wife not a company managing person but he wants she truly love him not for show case of public, we can understand this when he talk to his friends and fl also love him but don't show that openly to him divorce is for their best. We can see he is not only guilt but loves her truly he didn't force or pressure but patiently approached her and she understands his intention and she can feel his sincerity. We see she never smiled even with his family or his friend but after she accepted him her face filled with bright smile really like that she loves him he loves her they deserved this second chance. Like this drama❤❤❤❤❤

How can he smile on her he thinks she drugged him, if someone drugged them they thinks she or he loves them that's why they did that kind of thing, but in this she didn't want (or maybe she didn't show) to improve their relationship instead she did everything for save his company, without knowing him. Although the storyline of the drama includes the FL being bullied ( though she definitely can fight back ) and cold treatment for 5 years by ML but it is balanced . ( no gross abusive scenes !!!)ML mis understood her and subsequently he actually put in a lot of efforts and ate humble pies which are quite satisfying… the ML has very good micro expressions. Recommend.❤😂 really like the kisses …at least it is not fake! More than 50% of the drama is ML self realisation and eating humble pies.😂😂 Also 100% love ML family who rallied around FL.

😍 Wow! I can’t express enough how emotionally powerful their couple chemistry is ❤️🔥! Both extremely handsome main actor & gorgeous main actress gave such incredible performances, filled with heartaches, but with a satisfyingly HAPPY ENDING 👩🏻❤️💋👨🏻 Their kisses starting in the last 7:00 were passionately deep and so REAL (I believe I saw his tongue 👅 French kissing 😍)! The whole cast were amazing, especially: his mom & sister (I adored her) 🥰 his uncle, his housekeeper, all her staff & friends, his two best friends ALL LOVED HER and made sure to tell him how stupid he was to be blinded by his anger towards her with the misunderstandings 😂 That she deserves someone who will be good to her, even his mother and sister said so!
I like this drama so far. There's no super annoying antagonist, and after the problem is solved, they are out of the picture, allowing the story to focus on the MC. Another thing I love is how the ML doesn't easily forgiven. I can feel his torment😂
This is a well-written drama. There were some editing concerns and unnecessary scenes like that terrorism sequence 😂, but overall, this production is one of the best I've seen in minis. The FL has lead-starred in quite a few shows, and while I think she is more suited for darker character roles, her acting is decent here. On the other hand, ML's acting is superb. Those micro-expressions and nuances really captured the mood of the scenes. It's no wonder he is always typecast in these husband roles. 😂 He is so good at it.
And it seems that the ML and FL are a couple in real life. The kissing scenes were quite passionate. They were even french kissing at 2:27:25. 😂
I like this drama bcz the FL is good in counterattacks against evils, and good mother in law relationships. Only a few shows good and strong daughter in law Mother in law relationships now a days

Those viewers who read comments first before watching all I can say is if you are smart enough to understand the plot then this drama is a good one. Definitely worth watching .ML #wanghaozhen and FL #caicaiyun did a good job playing their part .Well done!!!

I think most of us are used to the same old toxic abuse stories where the male lead is unforgivably abusive to the female lead for years and then gets a ridiculous, unearned and undeserved “happy ending” usually without any actual work or remorse on his side. Bonus points if he takes the knife of forgiveness instead of actually having to work to atone for his sins. 😂
This drama, although still having the FL stay and suffer for 5 years, actually spent 3/4 of the drama (from about 41:00 on) realizing he was wrong, showing honest remorse, having to deal with the fact that the FL doesn’t love him and may get with another guy, and having to work slowly to a) respect her and b) atone before he gets a second chance. And for *once* the male lead isn’t an arrogant controlling AH for the last 3/4 of the drama! Refreshing.
We are so used to the usual where 90% of drama is pure abuse followed by the male lead “realizing he was wrong” and calling it a “misunderstanding” followed by a barely-there apology and then 2 minutes later he takes the knife of forgiveness and all his sins are supposedly magically erased. 😂😂😂 I hate those. It was nice to see a ML actually show some honest character development.
Ps. Can you remind me why he loves her? I’m asking seriously because I can absolutely understand why he would feel guilt and shame for mistreating her when he finds out the truth (even though he never once felt bad for mistreating her during their 5 year marriage-which suggests he is not a decent human being). But given that he never actually got to know her, why did he love her?
I feel like they never really had a chance to connect as people. He just was an arrogant AH, she divorced him and left, he finally found out the truth (something he never bothered to figure out before then), and suddenly he feels bad so he thinks he now loves her?

@@stephanien6237 if you agree with me that love is indeed has no boundaries then you will understand Wang Hao Zen ML feelings towards Cai Cai Yun FL at the end .He never hates her from the beginning he just misunderstood her for being a scheming woman .(drugging him, forcing him to marry her by his grandfather and a 10 percent shares from the company) not knowing the agreement between FL and his grandfather. FL agreed on the other hand because she like ML and she just want to repay his kindness and agreed to help ML within the span of five years. When ML find the truth he feels guilty and as you said he missed her when she left. I re watch it again because it is really a difficult plot to understand but it's worth watching. Love is infinite and sometimes unpredictable it defines this drama .

I’m used to the usual 90% of drama being pure abuse followed by the male lead “realizing he was wrong” and calling it a “misunderstanding” followed by a barely-there apology and then 2 minutes later he takes the knife of forgiveness and all his sins are supposedly magically erased. 😂😂😂 I hate those. It was nice to see a ML actually show some honest character development.

La actriz muy poco sonríe siempre la misma expresión.
El actor es muy caballero con sus coprotagonistas y da besos reales.
Espero verlo en otros roles.

ML emotionally abused FL for five years, because he thought she had ulterior motives, but after FL resigned, signed a confidentiality agreement and divorced him without taking any compensations, he regrets everything, he learned that FL loved him so much, he realised why his family, his employees and his friends adores FL is because she is a genuine person, at first it was guilt that he felt, but he slowly fell for her, tho she was avoiding him, he was miserable and hopeless to win her back, i dont know if ML deserved FLs forgivess, but he redeemed himself, he never gave FL a hardtime nor force her on anything after their divorce, he protected her in every possible way, gosh the leads portrayed their characters so well, im crying in every emotional scenes😢
I don't think of anyone who can act this character aside from this ML.I really love watching him.will always be my fave.. a handsome actor who can act so well with his eyes and is a great kisser 😂❤❤

Wang Hao Zhen is so handsome And Cai Cai Yun is beautiful I saw this a few weeks ago it's a hard one to review this drama has a miscommunication in it but even those it's his own fault he kept telling her he didn't like her that's why she never opened up to him. If my hubby treat me like that he be out of the door he wouldn't last 5 years as my grandma used to say late affection is worthless this drama makes me really feel for the FL she had a terrible life😢 the SFL should of been took out of this sooner she just annoying and childish maybe it's her voice you don't need her for the story I wish there write SFL out what I like about this I love his family he deserved that slap his mam gave him and his sister lovely the SML he a good man 😊 parts of this are well written and it's better then alot of the same type of drama it's gets better after 40 mins would I go back to him I don't no probably not that's just me you can't help who you love he does try and make amends I guess 😊 the ML naughty tongue kiss even made the FL blush😊 as always with these two there chemistry amazing not the worst but not the best but worth seeing maybe once😊❤...
They should have just made this a great revenge drama where she gives up on him and his cruelty has finally eroded any love she might have once had for him. She should have walked away and found a wonderful, decent, loving man who she can equally love and make a happy life together!

I really like this one! I loved that his misunderstanding of her didn't take 99% of the story. He kept his distance from the scheming girl, and FL wasn't a pushover after she left. She wasn't a damsel in distress needing saving. She saved herself. I also loved that she didnt give in to him so easily or fast. It was also great with no slapping or choking of the women. The ML's assistant is funny and also loved that he had a nice mother and sister that loved the FL, and he also made the scheming girl and her family pay, unlike most of the other stories where he just has his assistant take care of her or tells her to leave and she always comes back with a knife or car for FL.
