It would be my favorite course in the DMV area if it wasn't for the gross stretch of holes around 15 surrounded by houses and that giant sea wall on the left.
Played here a few times. Best course in the area definitely. #1 hole was the 3rd hole and #16 was the original 18th and the 17th was the original #1 hole.
I'll be in town visiting my family for the holidays. If we get a warm weather day we may try to get out for 18, but are undecided on the course we'll play. You mentioned releasing a Top 10 NoVa course video. Will that video be coming out soon? If not, could you share the rankings?
@@willcrooks7216 pushing list out a little as there’s a few more I wanna review before making final list. Where ya staying? DC, VA or MD side? If price isn’t an issue (hopefully not too bad during winter/colder days), the top northern VA courses I’d personally take ppl to: Raspberry Falls in Leesburg, Potomac Shores (this course hah), Laurel Hill in Lorton or Stonewall in Clifton. You might hear some ppl give Westfields and Bull run some love which I don’t disagree with at all. If you’re on the MD side - Whiskey Creek, Worthington Manor and Blue Mash would be my top options not going too far into MD. Cheers buddy!
I live in Montgomery County, MD, and I’ve never even heard of this course. It looks really beautiful and fun. Thanks for sharing this! Edit: really cool to hear you’re playing PB Dye next, as I play that course often. It’s so weird now that they switched the back and front nines, though. I like all three of the Urbana courses (including Worthington and Whiskey), so I hope to see those too. You earned yourself a sub, sir.
@@MarkEresGolf yeah I looked over your channel after I watched this, and realized you’ve played and vlogged a bunch of courses I play regularly. It’s so cool!
Love the video, you should review some courses that are less than $150 for a round lol. Want to enjoy some good golf but also not trying to break the bank. My home course is Piedmont club but the one I play alot is Bull Run, you should check it out!
Would love to bring me and some of my staff down from The Manor golf club to play your course. I also think many viewers would enjoy The Manor Golf Club in FarmVille, Va. Near Petersburg & Richmond
Used to be way better when the 18th hole finished by the clubhouse and there were zero houses around, can’t stand it now. Plus, just way too long between most holes.
Completely agree. I never played it before the changes, but from what I heard, the layout did make so much sense. Very weird 18 finishes so far from clubhouse. Appreciate the comment!

Looking forward to that top ten!
Love your videos. Would love to tee it up with you and learn some more about golf content creation
Played it a few weeks ago…. Very cool course… Generous fairways, high rough, and small greens… Definitely a great place to play

I appreciate the love! PB Dye vid is out. Have Worthington and whiskey on channel already and I give my rankings of those 3 in my other vid. Cheers!

Let me know when you wanna come to play Country Club of Petersburg. Course is in great shape right now with our club championship coming up!

Great video! I live off the 12th tee! Let’s play sometime!
Nice course, but a bit quirky. Too much distance between holes.
Twin Lakes courses are nice
@@pavsoccer10 absolutely agree! Twin lakes oaks one of the videos coming out soon!
Just wish this course was cheaper.
@@abelendecody1 you and I both….
Is it a private course?
