I just made this and the only substitution was powdered bullion for salt. It was so simple to make and incredibly delicious. Never buying store sauce ever again. Thank you good sir!
@FoodForTheSoulByWalterRush then show that version bc I've been there too and the plate comes hot with the butter underneath the pasta and then they mix the real parmesan on top fresh pasta and mix it in ..the best way to eat it

You can use any kind of salt … I use pink salt because it’s not as salty as regular salt and it has a more smoother taste than regular salt

Can evaporated milk be used in place of the heavy cream? That can be kind of costly. Also can the grated jar parmesan cheese be used?
Evaporated milk cannot be used and grated Parmesan can only be added to top of the sauce
