I always run into this issue with practically every board game. My gaming table is 4 feet by 2 feet. I cannot accommodate anything wider. Is this game still playable at those dimensions?
You can definitely play with the pieces but the game is designed around 3 foot by 3 foot so all of the game setup would have to be house ruled in your situation. Unless you can use a board to give yourself a square on top of what you already have.
why not look at it as you need 9 square feet you have 8 square feet. what if the battle took place in some sort of rectangular corridor in space. same as could nt you play on a round 3 foot table.
