War dance of the Builsa People of Sandema.

this war dance from Builsa people of Sandema in the Upper East region of Ghana has a history linked to the slave trade which occured from 1704 in the then Northern territory now UpperEast region. it is believed that a warrior from Builsa was able to kill one of the enslavers which actually started the fleeing of the enslavers. this dance reenact how the warriors use to raise their morale before engaging their enemies.
