For your great grandpa you mean us army Air Force because your great grandpa probably served in ww1 or ww2 and there was no Air Force until after ww2 it was called the us army Air Force

Still not sure which branch I want to go to, but definitely want to be in the military.
Bro my grandpa was a Ranger in the military in 1977 and holy crap The difference in behavior is so different compared to talking to civilians. in order to talk to him it feels like you have to learn a whole new language lol. It also takes a while to get used to how damn crude he can be.
My Grandfather just passed, he was a US Navy Vietnam Vet. My other grandfather was an Iranian Hostage Crisis Vet. After high school I’m heading to Naval Academy to become an officer then try to get a job as a catapult officer on an aircraft carrier!
I've been fascinated with the military since I was like 5. I plan on joining the US Marine Corps right after I graduate from high-school. Always respect the military. They go to places and do things that normal citizens wouldn't think of doing and only for a couple reasons. Protect their country, protect their loved ones, and protect the people of their country.
