It's definitely a scary step up in workload, but I know you've had this in the works for quite a while and haven't rushed into it, so I'll be interested in seeing where this whole thing takes your business.
I was actually thinking after seeing the short Technsports video having him as a guest that pretty soon there'd be a huge jump to a commercial space and slight changes in the business formula.
Had my first sales to Phoenix and Sosa Games over the holidays and was very happy with the end result. It's been a lot of fun being on the hunt for items on your hot list as many of them aren't conventionally popular and are easier to stock up on in the wild. Looking forward to gathering batches every month to send you both.
I hope your saving money. It feels like we're in for a cycle in the money system so I don't know if there's going to be money for extra stuff like video games the next couple years.
I love your business and have partnered with you guys a number of times on some good sized shipments this past year. If it were me - I'd highly consider nixing the loose games portion of the business (except for quick moving titles like Wii Sports, Mario games, etc.), because it seems like a lot of people will just dump untested crap on you, which will cause a huge loss of productivity trying to test and/or clean all of those low dollar games. Hopefully I'm wrong, but that part seems painful. Keep up the great work!
I think the idea may be that loose games are loss leaders, overall they may end up with better product coming in if they allow people to just dump stuff on them. it's an aggressive strategy but could pay off. unless there are some info we haven't been privy to, it seems the threshold for success may be pretty narrow, having to maintain that equilibrium of intake/outtake. might have to expand out of the basement
Best wishes with continuing with a profitable model that allows you to redistribute games to people that want them at a fair price. My guess is 50% of the cost of the price of games sold is for your labor and reconditioning cost plus shipping.
I do like the option being able to sell everything at one go. It’s actually good. Has done draw backs but everything new has its flaws. So the hot list price I say are fantastic as normal. Looking at what the offers for regular games to be depending on what they are , which makes sense but a plus to sell literally everything is quick flips gives you a price for even loose disc yes it might be like 0.75 for a loose sports game but I don’t have to deal with it anymore. Some of the prices offer for some game I say not to well. I do understand its take time and phoenix loves his money so actually getting an offer of 10$ for a $30 game in hindsight not too terrible.
Caleb you should create your own website where people can purchase stocked games from you at pricecharting value! You would only need to hire a few more employees and they should easily be worth multiple times their daily pay for skilled employees!
@@Darklaw_ Tbh selling video games is way easier than selling cards lol. It's way more work to look for 1 card out of 200k listed than it is to find 1 game out of 5k listed. The only major difference is that cards are more price dense, since you know, they're small
I don’t see it being profitable testing a disc that you’re only giving 21 cents for. Inserting a disc into a console, retrieving it and then “filing” it costs real time and money. I would suggest grading it visually and creating a wholesale box of loose games untested with minimal scratching/wear and a wholesale box of loose games with wear--the lowest of the low, and update your buy prices to assume for the low value stuff it is in trash condition.
Here is a question, what if your in Europe and you get gameboy advance games, which aren't region lock. Pretty much any region free console, can we ship them to you? Or is it only USA And Canada?
I have some CIB n64 and ps3 games I can ship to you from egypt and I will need store credit not money as I live in Egypt . I also have a us postal address to receive whatever I will buy with that credit . Does this work for you?
i see the vision, buy fast, sell faster. i believe in the wholesale approach and still keeping S-tier buylist!

So you sell stuff to suckers on amazon for double the price. Good business model, keep ripping off the unknowledgeable!
Man, imagine getting a job and you're just working out of your boss' basement.
I bet if they served Oranges at Arkham, the prisoners might be a little less crazy.
There’s something wildly entertaining about Caleb’s energy in this video 🤣🤣 great content 🤙
Oh no! 😂 Waiting for the announcement that you have outgrown the basement and bought a commercial space.
Haha that may be on the horizon tbh
I blame Tech for some of these new implementations and future ventures. 😅 He's a treasure trove of knowledge and first hand experience.

@renixpesale That PS3/360/Wii shovelware has to go somewhere right?
The fact that you’re doing so much work in such a small space is really impressive.
That's what she said.

Love seeing people get in on the action!

Can't wait to see if Wii Fit goes on the list! He'll get 1million of those sent in in one month 🙂
It is interesting to see your journey to becoming the next DKOldies (I don't mean that in a bad way).
True statement.

Nah that seems totally reasonable, great observation! I could see certain folks doing that for sure

Where is your switch collection?
I'll face myself
To cross out what I've become
Erase myself
And let go of what I've done

Dope video! Huge scaling will continue to cause process and system improvement.
Hey Caleb where did you purchase those yellow storage bin containers stands?
Would love to trade in my collection, but the app doesn't work at all.
Told you man, I'm ready to go! Say the word!
Might've missed the video, but i don't see the switch collection set up. What happened to it?

I used to be able to comfortably fill hundreds of orders a day when I was running my own buy/sell trading card business homie!

Good work man 👨 😊😊
What’s up with sealed games?? Asking the same price as CIB

No one tests every disc. Just inspect and resurface
You paid 8$ per game with those numbers I'm very curious about the turnover. Can you do a video on that?
New to the channel where can I buy from you at?
God bless y’all
Here is a question, what if your in Europe and you get gameboy advance games, which aren't region lock. Pretty much any region free console, can we ship them to you? Or is it only USA And Canada?
What xbox steel books do you have?

Bro its not worth it i mean the shipping will cost more than the games and if something goes wrong it will be a big headache
@esskeetitpump4165 guess u r right
O:
I just want the minimum order amount to not be $200. Ideally it would be like $50-$100 minimum instead.
Haircut bro.
Seriously that's what you're focused on? Mind your business bruh.
Just stick to handheld stuff carts are best
another boring talking video
This isn’t his real channel. This is his talking channel where he talks more about the business side.
Another insufferable hater.
